| A/C Clutch problems | 30 May 2004 19:23 GMT | 1 |
Anyone know a cheap source of a rebuild kit for the A/C clutch assy? Mine is starting to rub when it's not engaged and when my Cherokee did this it eventually caused enough heat to sh.t out the bearing and cause the whole shebang to lock up leaving me stranded. Maybe it was the ...

| Heat shield necessary? | 30 May 2004 16:00 GMT | 13 |
Is the heat shield attached to the stock muffler necessary? I still have the heat shield attached to the underside of the tub, but the one attached to the muffler had to be torn off. The muffler could probably hold out another month or two without being replaced, as long as that ...

My '94 YJ has been a chronic leaker at the main seal ever since it was new. The original owner had the main seal replaced at 10 & 20k miles, then traded it off at 25k. I had it replaced at 28k, along with a new clutch to replace the oil-soaked, chattering original. That seal made it ...

| New Clutch has a "break in period" | 29 May 2004 04:06 GMT | 4 |
Part of my engine installation was to install a brand new clutch. The clutch pressure plate was balanced with the flywheel at the machine shop. When I got my jeep from the R&R guy, for the first 10 - 20 miles or so, when I came to a stop and pressed on the clutch I felt the jeep ...

| 94 Cherokee Back light switch | 29 May 2004 03:15 GMT | 2 |
Just what is the button on the rear cab light supposed to do? Manual says something about bypassing the other lights, I can't get anything to happen with it. The light works fine when a front door is open, but I need that light when just the hatch is open.
