I have 12,000 miles on my 03 Wrangler and now noticed only during the first
five or so minutes after a cold start, there is a chirping, squeaking sound
from my belt and pulley area.  It goes away after it is warmed up.  The belt
does not appear to have dirt or grime on it however ...

Can't get into the shop soon enough, and my TJ is my only
vehicle...needs opinions (fact would be better) as to how long I can

Steel Hardtop for CJ528 May 2004 01:00 GMT27
I have a 1981 CJ5 and (an original) steel hardtop.  I think its original.
Or it is possibly Jeep aftermarket.  But it has the Jeep logo and an Ohio
mfg tag.  I am going to strip and repaint.
Does anyone know if this came original?

MSD-6al ignition for an AMC 360?28 May 2004 00:33 GMT9
Hi guys.  I'm thinking about putting an MSD-6al into an '82 AMC 360 motor.
This ignition has a rev limiter which can be programmed for 3000, 6000,
7000, and 8000.  I'm just wondering what the red line is on this motor and
if I do the MSD, which pill should I use.  I'm thinking 6000 ...

"Original Miles"27 May 2004 21:58 GMT31
Ok, the eBay CJ made me think about this some more.  I'm so sick of seeing
vehicles for sale on the internet claiming original miles, when it is
obvious it's false.  I personally always take that statement with a grain of
salt, but what are some resources people can use?
