Hey all,
I have a 93 4.0 Wrangler that has had a power steering problem for a
while.  Sometimes it would work and then out of the blue it stops
working.  Its never actually stopped working while I'm driving, only
Cherokee Speaker System27 May 2004 19:12 GMT1
once again...99' cherokee sport.  seems like the rear speakers are wired to
not produce a high bass output.  I have 240 w pioneers in the front and back
with the stock deck, and the front cranks out bass to the point of it
sounding like subs, but the rear speakers seem like all ...

PING >>>> Mike R  27 May 2004 18:20 GMT6
Ok, so my admittedly  bad driveshaft angles have killed my rear pinion
bearings, from the other post I gather that it may be a safe bet that
the t-case seals are damaged as well?  Also, (my apologies for being
so damn thick) I really really don't get how/where any fluid my leave
Synthetic Oil in New Jeep?27 May 2004 17:44 GMT7
I have a new 04 Grand Cherokee V8 and when I took it back to the dealer for
an oil change I asked if they would put in Synthetic Oil and was told that
Jeep does not recommend it.  I thought Synthetic Oil adheres better to metal
and is much better then the regular oil.   My question ...

Hey all...I have an Automatic 4.0 99' Cherokee Sport.
First issue...when Part Time 4x4 is on and I turn the wheel to the left or
right and accelerate, the wheel shakes back and forth and it feels like the
wheels are slipping.
Help!  Paint related.27 May 2004 14:34 GMT4
My 97 TJ has the upgraded (?) wheels, clearcoated ,  The clearcoat didn't
last long here on the coast.  I drive on the beach every day and it's hard
on equiptment.  A few issues back. in either JP or 4Wheel magazine there was
an article concerning repainting with what looked like an ...

seats of my 99 TJ?   Feel like I'm "sunk" in the tub"   Hahahaha
Thanks in advance
Please help: Weird tail-light problem...27 May 2004 04:56 GMT6
I have a 1988 Jeep Wrangler, I love it to death. But it's got this very
annoying (and illegal) problem. The right tail-light is out. Now, the bulb
works. I know this because the same bulb is used for the turn-signal,
breaks, and hazards. If all those lights work, then why doesn't ...
I think a lawnmower is better than a jeep27 May 2004 04:11 GMT11
Yes, I think lawnmowers will always beet jeeps, because jeeps are useless vehicles.
Electric Fan Motor27 May 2004 02:57 GMT10
1999 Grand Cherokee w/ 4.0L. The electric cooling fan was going through a
slow death (decreasing RPM's) so I recently replaced.
The new fan worked fine for several days then it ran constantly after the
engine was shut off. For several days I just unplugged the fan so it would
Just had my engine dyno'd and air fuel ratio checked27 May 2004 02:38 GMT31
4.2 block / 4.0 Head.
Results: 124.9 Horsepower.  I should have about 160, yes?
Air/Fuel ratio came back a tad lean if anything.
Engine has about 60 miles on it.
CJ7 Windshield - Lower Bracket bolts27 May 2004 00:53 GMT5
I am removing the windshield and hinges. Working on the lower hinges has
been a problem. I have heated the bolts and got them to turn. On the driver
side I had to drill them out, and discovered that they had nuts on the end
of the bolts.
This had to hurt27 May 2004 00:06 GMT8
Why you need a rollcage.
It's only 891K, non-graphic, but scary.

CJ7: Voltage regulator 26 May 2004 23:08 GMT1
I'm just reading the new book "Jeep CJ Rebuilders Manual" by Moses Ludel and
there is a chapter covering  Electrical and Ignition system upgrades. The
main topic is installing a MSD 6 ignition unit, and he writes: "Like other
electronic devices, the MSD/6 requires clean, reliable ...
