I've been hearing a loud squeal coming from the engine compartment of my '95
GCL (usu. on engine startup), so I took some advice on here and got a Krikit
belt tension gauge from NAPA Auto Parts.  I tried it on the drivebelt
today...60 lbs!  Can you say "loose belt"?

Bought a 76 CJ5 a couple of weeks ago (Hooo-Yahh!)  Couple of days
after I bought it she wouldnt start.  Replaced battery.  Couple of
days later, she wouldnt start, battery was dead.  Replaced alternator
& external voltage regulator.  As the days went by... engine developed

she is out of warranty and starting to give me problems. I figure it's time

During wheeling Saturday I lost my brakes in my '79 CJ7, haven't had
much time to diagnose it, due to yesterday being Mothers Day.  My wife

What size is the nut in the center of the hub?  I think it is 1-3/8 (the
