Oil leak from front Diff on 95 ZJ 4.0L advice needed01 Jul 2004 00:27 GMT4
Hey folks,
I was under the car while changing the oil this morning and noticed a leak
from the front axle Differential housing the oil stream is about 2 inches
wide and goes from the U joint to the Housing (back to front) Now cannot

Decided to put the teraflex 2" lift on my 04 wrangler and was wondering:
1. Is the drop pitman arm needed?
2. The Transfer case spacers needed.
3.How much will the 2" mess up the alignment?

I have a 93 Cherokee 2WD, with the 4.0L engine, which has begun to lose
coolant. While it seems that there could be more than one place it could

Just wondering what you guys recommend for a rear cargo lock box for my TJ.
I got the quadratec catalogue a couple months ago and there was one that
caught my eye...but I doubted how well it would function.
I don't have the book in front of me....but, it was an expandable box.  So

    I am in the process of regearing and fitting ARB locker, do I
use the standard fluid when its reassembled without the limited slip
additive or do I nee a different oil, also is their a better synthetic
type of oil to use?

I'm driving an '03 TJ with the 2.4L in it 35,875 Miles on it.
     Here's my problem - occasionally (more often when wet, but not always)
my oil pressure gage in my cluster reads zero.  I've had it to the $tealer
and they turned the jeep on and said.. hmmm doesn't seem to be doing ...

About two weeks ago my check engine light came on. I have a '96 GC Laredo
with a 4.0 engine. I went and had Autozone check the code and it was PO138.
Got the Haynes book out and it said it was the o2 sensor before the cat. I
replaced it and drove for a few days and the light came ...

I bought a 2003 Jeep GC, and visited with the local Jeep service department
re an extra key issue.  While I really needed that key, the svc mngr spoke
endlessly about the proper care and  feeding of a Jeep Drive Train,
emphasizing both differentials, i.e., the need to completely ...

I have a 99 TJ soft top and I have found that the stitching that holds
the plastic rails in place is not as strong as I would have liked.
Does any one know of a good southern California upholstery place?  Any
help is apprecaited!!

Can someone remind me how to recenter the steering wheel?  I just installed
a new 4" lift and now the steering wheel is not centered.  I seem to
remember there is a simple adjustment done on the steering likage that will

How do I determine what transfer case I have?  I have an 85 CJ7 258
6-cyl 5-speed.
From this site (http://www.offroaders.com/jeepfan/jeepspot.htm) I see I
have either a "Dana20, Quadra-Trac, Dana 300".

picking up an '04 today w/o the factory softtop. Can anyone recommend
who makes a decent aftermarket top. More importantly, is the hardware
interchangeable with the setup for an 04 model?
