Went to start CJ (1983 258) today, it had been sitting about a week. Wouldn't start. Long story short, it seems carb had no gas. Used starting fluid to get it going, once it was going, ran and start fine. Ideas on why carb would run out of gas? Easy fixes?

I just replaced the inner and outer seal and bearing/race on an AMC 20 rear axel. I removed the hub from the axel to get this done. How is this done with a one piece axel? Seems to me changing seals and bearings with a one piece would be the same as changing them without

Any guidance on doing this / where to start? I had the system on my 97 Cherokee country pressure tested and they tell me the core is finished. Any experience in how long a job it is to replace this, and what is involved? Thanks- please cc bmilne@austin.rr.com with replies..... any ...

1999 Tj with a 2" Tera Flex lift. After a Moab trip terrible death wobble started at about 45 MPH. Replaced the track bar. Could feel wobble trying to start in steering wheel. After about 20 miles death wobble came back big time. Swithched from 30" stock tires to offset 32" MTR's. ...

Can anyone tell me what to use to try and restore these things a bit? They are visibly faded and peeling - I don't necessarily want them to shine, but a more uniform color would be nice... Thanks!

Does anyone know if the 2005 Liberty Renegade will still be available in monocramatic paint (not all the black plastic cladding)?? The pictures I see only show heavy black plastic cladding that we all know fades to a scuffed up gray in no time.

two issues- '03 Wrangler rubicon, factory MTRs 1- at low speed (less than 10 mph) the vehicle exhibits a side-to-side rocking motion sort of like one tire has a large flat

I've been holding out trading/selling my 98 TJ to see what the new wrangler will have. Is there any news about this, and is it still gonna be redone for '06? It'd be nice if it had a more fuel effecient engine, but I'm not sure

I felt scrubbing under my brake pedal for the last several days and finally took it to a supershop in Atlanta. They showed me where the calipers on the right were sticking and how the rotors had been worn down below spec. I have 85,000 on this 99 TJ
