anywhere between 4-6 weeks for delivery.  They made me give a $500.00
deposit--maybe deposit isn't the right word--I had to give them my credit
card number to make sure that I was serious about this purchase.  ...

What should I do to my TJ @ 100k?08 Jun 2004 18:10 GMT3
My 99 TJ is at about 93k, and I'm wondering what kind of maintenance I
should do at 100k. Yes, there's stuff listed in the manual, but I'd like
to hear from people who've been there...
thanks,

Anyone try out the WARN gas tank skidplate?08 Jun 2004 15:23 GMT3
From what i have seen, warn has begun selling gas tank skidplate for
jeep wrangler yj's and tj's.  Its design is based directly on Kilby's
gas tank skidplate.  It lifts the tank itself 1" just like Kilby's and
its also a bolt in setup.  It's also only $156.95 on quadratec.com,
CJ5 in a Uhaul ?08 Jun 2004 06:12 GMT11
I have my 81 CJ5, and I will be moving across country.  I wanted to know if
anyone ever tried loading a CJ onto a U-Haul.  I have another car that I am
planning to tow, and I wont have anyone else to drive the Jeep.  As if that
would be fun to drive cross country.  The Jeep width is ...

Mag lite-where?08 Jun 2004 04:12 GMT37
I have purchased one of the larger D-cell Mag-lite flashlights and can't
figure out where to mount it in my '98 TJ. I'd like it to be some place
where it can be grabbed from the driver's seat when needed. I'm thinking
about the side of my Tuffy overhead console since I am short ...
OT (sort of) "Sea Foam"08 Jun 2004 01:04 GMT4
Any experience with this product?  My neighbor has a Stihl Weedwacker
that was running poorly (even after a new plug- gapped properly and
fresh fuel)  He drained the gas (2-cycle) and poured some of this
stuff in, added some more fresh fuel and the thing runs great!  I'm
Jeep Rear axle bearings vs Chrysler Corp08 Jun 2004 00:14 GMT1
I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd with a noisy rear axle.  Preliminary
diagnosis from an Indie - bad bearings, perhaps rebuild of rear axle which

Has anyone successfully filed a claim against Chrysler?  There sure seems to

PA door laws on a CJ07 Jun 2004 23:00 GMT10
Hey Everyone,
Does anyone know the current law for doors on a CJ in PA?  I was just pulled
over this afternoon and told as of May 11th every Jeep must have doors, none
are exempt.  My '82 Scrambler has the factory mirrors, and the cop told me i
