I am seeing cracks at or near the welds where the hoops meet the doors on my
'97 TJ, moss green.  Any solution other than full body shop work-up?  I could
see that getting real spendy real fast.

FTS 4" Lift on TJ07 Jun 2004 19:06 GMT4
Still trying to work out the exact route to 33" tires, is it
possible to install the Full Traction 4" lift kit with the supplied
transfer case drop hardware and run the existing slip yoke and
driveshaft as an interim before going to a SYE and CV driveshaft.
Fuel problem07 Jun 2004 16:31 GMT14

'76 CJ-7.
It has sat mostly in one place for the last month.
Last time I parked it, it had a full tank of gas.
Why stretch a CJ7?07 Jun 2004 16:22 GMT17
Why would you want to stretch a wheelbase on a CJ7?

Dynomax disaster07 Jun 2004 16:08 GMT5
Ok, maybe it wasn't a disaster, but it is frustrating no less.  I get my new
Dynomax "super turbo" (how the heck can a muffler be "super" anything, let
alone "turbo".. sheesh.. marketing.. ANYHOW) and proceed to rip out my old
stock exhaust.  At this point I'm realizing what a pain ...

to MN in wisconsin?  They have stickers you can get at DMV here that
allow you to offroad in designated areas, but I can't get any
information on any of the areas.

Hi folks.  My husband has the above vehicle and is having some problems.
The car has 135,000 miles.
Over the years he's had issues of stalling or not starting.  In March we
were in Colorado, driving down a gravel road at about 11,000 feet and it

Red line on 258 07 Jun 2004 03:18 GMT9
I was wondering what the red line / max RPM for this motor is.  My friend
and I tried to look it up in a couple of books but the closest thing we got
was 3200 rpms.
Thanks again

Carburetor woes07 Jun 2004 01:09 GMT39
I'm having trouble with my carburetor and know NOTHING about setting
up a carb so I was hoping to get some input from y'all on this.  I
have a '76 CJ5 with 304 V8 in it.  I put on an edelbrock performer
intake manifold and a Holley 670 Truck Avenger carb.  I had problems
94 YJ trouble shifting into gears, clutch pedal quirky06 Jun 2004 22:28 GMT10
So I've had my 94 YJ 4cyl 5spd for a few weeks now, and I've noticed

takes a lot of force to engage, I get bad grinding sometimes when
shifting into reverse, and I've noticed that 2nd gear and sometimes
CJ Brake light switch - moan and groan06 Jun 2004 21:10 GMT11
