Best winch for TJ06 Jun 2004 19:46 GMT1
I have a question that I hope someone can answer.  Are there any problems
putting on a warn 16.5ti. winch on my TJ?  Would that be overkill?  I would
like to have a strong winch just in case I need to put one on our Ford F350
(1 Ton) or our trailer.
Fuel tank liquid check valve?06 Jun 2004 19:26 GMT3
When I start my Jeep CJ5, I always have to pump the accelerator about 30
times before it begins to get fuel.  I was looking through my Haynes manual
today and saw a liquid check valve.  It is located in the drivers wheel well
just above the fuel tank.  My guess is that it is on the ...

Newbie Tie Rod End Installation Mistake Help!!!06 Jun 2004 04:36 GMT1
After installing a new tie rod (a Big Daddy Monster Tie Rod and rod ends) in
my 99 Jeep Wrangler, I popped off the passenger-side tie rod end using a tie
rod end puller, lowering the tie rod, so I'd have easy access to the axle
mount securing the factory steering stabilizer.  I was ...

Rotors warping05 Jun 2004 15:11 GMT15
With 30k miles, the brake rotors on 01 GC warped while on a trip.  I managed
to have them grounded and the front pads replaced for $260 at a jeep
dealership.
According to my owners manual rotors are excluded from warranty after 12k
Speedo gear, which one?05 Jun 2004 14:39 GMT10
I have searching all over the net and understand that I would need a
27-tooth gear to get my speedo back to reading correctly.  I have 3.07
gearing and am running 265/75R16 tyres, which equate to about 31.7 inches
dia.  Armed with this, I went to the dealer to get part no: 52067627, ...
ROTFLMAO!  Someone stole the house across the street!05 Jun 2004 14:37 GMT9
So I know the house across the street is for sale.  It is a modular 2
story 'monster' house worth about 300K.  They bought and demolished all
the rest of the houses on that block to make way for a 30 story condo
unit.
