Hello group03 Jun 2004 14:27 GMT11
Just got my first Jeep, a '98 Sierra. I'm sure I'll have lots of
newbie questions for all ya's in the near future, so I just figured
I'd introduce myself. If anyone has any good suggestions for
off-roading in the Madison, Wisconsin area that would be cool too.

Sometimes on ignition, even after filling the gas tank, the gas gauge needle
will not move from the empty position...what causes this?

Importing Part To The UK from the US03 Jun 2004 09:45 GMT2
Does anyone have an idea of what amount of import duty I am
liable to pay on ARB Lockers, Ring & pinion sets, CV Driveshaft & SYE.
As the current exchange rates are quite favourable for bringing bits
in from the States to the UK.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Where to tap off switched 12V in a WJ?03 Jun 2004 04:18 GMT5
I'm looking for a wire to tap into on my 2004 JGC to get switched 12V for my
radar detector.  I looked under the drivers side dash but all the wires are
loomed together so neatly that I can't get to any of them!  Just sticking a
wire under a fuse is a bit too tacky for me ;-)  I ...

Hub & Rotor Swapping02 Jun 2004 23:40 GMT1
Hey Everyone,
My '82 Scrambler needs rotors, mine are pretty warped.  Sounds like a good
time to swap the stock 5-bolt hubs for the 6-bolt style.  I have a complete
narrow-trac Dana 30 axle collecting dust in my garage, with Warn Premiums on
Anyone have a lift in their garage?02 Jun 2004 23:10 GMT20
Hey Everyone,
By the end of the year i should have my own house.  It's been my mom's, but

Spare Tyre Relocation Recommendation02 Jun 2004 22:57 GMT16
I have changed the tyres from stock to 265/75R16 BFG Muds, but the problem
now is mounting the full size spare tyre on the factory mount.  I have seen
two options on the Internet, and the third was suggested by a friend.
Anybody had any experiences?
