Jeep Cover!25 Jun 2004 03:39 GMT6
I bought one of the rain gear covers a month or so ago and have been using
it daily...pretty neat not using the top or doors on a regular basis.  I
have been getting some humongous pools of water on top tho, almost flooded
my seat today when I forgot it rained.  Anyone have advice ...

My girlfriend has a 2000 Wrangler Sport with the 4.0 and she has recently
graduated from UMass and I wanted to get her something for her Jeep.  Its
completely stock and she has never taken it off road (I did and got it stuck
and she wasn't too happy with me, but its her fault for ...
MPI Manifold question.25 Jun 2004 02:14 GMT10
On my new intake there are two fittings I'm not sure what they are for.
The large brass fitting on the outside edge of the manifold and a small
vacuum line above it near the throttle body, it has blue ink on it.
One of these (according to the MPI instructions diagram) is for the
Rubbing in rear end25 Jun 2004 02:12 GMT10
My wifes 97 Grand Cherokee has had a rubbing sound coming from the
back end for awhile and it seems to be getting louder so I took the
back brakes off (disc brakes with small drum e-brakes) and it seemed
to me that the e-brakes where too tight so I losened them up a bit.

OK, this is irritating the hell out of me. I have an '80 CJ5 with a

On the heater hose that is connected to the thermostat housing,
there's a brass fixture with some kind of valve screwed into it. The

98 GC AC Malfunctioning25 Jun 2004 01:31 GMT10
We have a 98 GC 5.9 Lmtd. with 65,000 miles on it.   We use the Climate
Control, setting the temp at 72, and rarely changing it, summer or winter.
This year since the weather has warmed up and we're needing cooling, the
system is only working correctly intermittantly.  I would say ...

2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Liter24 Jun 2004 23:08 GMT1
I am new to Jeeps.  I have had 4X4 trucks.  Do you have any suggestions on
what to do with it.  I have noticed that it rides pretty rough.  It is a
daily driver so I can't get to wild with it.  Even though I want to.
tire recommendations?24 Jun 2004 22:29 GMT49
Hey all,
Presently have BFG All Terrain KOs 30x9.5 on 98 Wrangler Sport, which is
what I've had on my 96 and 98 Cherokees, and have enjoyed them on the
Cherokees.  Good tread life, good enough off-road for the little areas I go.
MPI 4.2L Oil Sensor Question24 Jun 2004 20:48 GMT14
I'm just finishing my MPI install on my project. Can anyone tell me what
to do with the oil pressure sensor? I have a small brass manifold
sticking out of the block. I know one hole is for the oil gauge and the
other is for a sensor. Does the MPI ECM not need to know the oil
turn signal flasher - 96 Cherokee Country24 Jun 2004 07:36 GMT1
I've searched high and low (google through askjeeves anyway!) for a hint to
the location of the turn signal flasher for Jeep Cherokees. I see lots of
people having trouble finding them but no specific answers (besides 'check
around the fuse box'), including a search here of recent ...

NP231 rear bushing and seal24 Jun 2004 03:07 GMT4
It looks like it is my turn to do the a NP-231 transfercase
rear seal. How about the bushing? I am assuming that is
pressed into the rear housing extension. Who or what is the
best way to replace the bushing? I'm think my 94 YJ has
