Popping from rear of XJ20 Jun 2004 17:58 GMT3
My wife's 00 XJ has developed some new noises.  We had the brakes done back
in February, but have been having "squealing" issues ever since.  Recently,
when braking, a popping noise can be heard.  It is definitely coming from
the rear axle, but you have to listen for it.  If the ...

If I wasn't in a hurry I would go and google this, but a co-worker needs
to know quickly where he can go and read up on how to do the 4.2 bypass, I
know it has been mentioned many times here but I never booked marked it..

Replacment Shocks for 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee?19 Jun 2004 23:21 GMT1
This car has 80,000 miles on it.   I can tell the ride is not as smooth as
it was when new.    Is it assumed that the shocks would be worn out by now?
What would be a good non-gas replacement shock for this Jeep please ?
Thanks !!
2004 SE vs. others19 Jun 2004 22:08 GMT12
Salesman told me today to avoid the 4 cylinder model 4 a 6 cylinder.
his fisrt reason was it cant handle the weight of the vehicle to move
properly.  I have a tiny 4 cylinder now that cant get out of its own
way. Should i consider this , or is it BS?

94 wrangler frame rot concern19 Jun 2004 12:36 GMT11
bad news. the right rear frame is pretty badly rotted - about the last 8-10
inches, right where the back of the rear spring attaches. I've seen many
posts about poor quality frame repairs and am concerned a bit wether or not
this is repairable. I also worry about the other areas ...
95 Cherokee muffler19 Jun 2004 11:55 GMT2
Any thoughts on which muffler to buy for a 4.0?
Stock muffler going and thought a muffler with just a  little more flow
(wife drives so not too loud) would help and not sacrifice any OEM
parameters. Cat newer.

My kid would love to go with me on wheeling adventures, but she gets kind of
sick in the back.  I think she'd do better up front.  How do I disable the

Canyon Wheels, 2001 TJ.  I believe they are a 5 lug 4.5" bolt pattern?
Last question..  What year Cherokee will these fit.  I thought ...
