oil pressure05 Jul 2004 18:16 GMT2
I have a Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 1994
Recently I had to get a new waterpump and I started to pay attention to the
gauges. I noticed that the oil pressure gauge varies with the rpm. the more
rpm, the higher the pressure. And only after the engined warmed up.
Grand Cherokee, service life??05 Jul 2004 18:12 GMT3
I'm looking into buying a used Grand Cherokee, perhaps a '99, or newer if I
can afford it;  my budget limit is  $10,000.
How many miles can I expect to get from a Cherokee before I start to see the
inevitable maintenance problems start to occur, (i.e. water pump, A/C, etc.)
Cherokee Collant Leak05 Jul 2004 07:22 GMT4
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4.0. My coolant is suddenly leaking from under
my dash onto my floor matts. What could be causing this?
Have fun.05 Jul 2004 06:12 GMT3
Work beckons and it's time to head off to the
wonderful land of Colorado Springs. :)
Too bad I won't have any time to spend
off-roading. :(  With any luck I'll be able
Gears and axles05 Jul 2004 05:23 GMT15
Here's what I've got:  99 TJ SE (2.5L, 5spd), 4" lift, POS D35 in the rear
and D30 up front.  I'm debating what to do now.  If money wasn't an issue,
I'd hunt down an old Ford 8.8 and get it fitted, gears and all.  Of course
money is an issue, SO....

Hi y'all.  Today I removed the yoke from the front of my transfer case
because it got damaged when the u-joint blew out on me.  I took this

Electrical Problems '73 CJ504 Jul 2004 21:44 GMT3
I'm having problems with my alternator and need a replacement.  I'd like to
go ahead and install a higher output alternator.  I've installed several
electrical components (driving lights, electric fan, fuel injection) and
will definately require a higher output alternator when I get ...

Hi everyone, just a quick question, can anyone tell me the torque settings
for the wheel nuts on my Liberty alloy wheels as I cannot find them any
where in my owners manual.

Working on Brakes (especially Rear Drums) - TJ04 Jul 2004 20:39 GMT33
Hey...I am about to pull my brakes apart due to some persistent brake
fade issues (dry or wet) I've been having with my rear brakes; I want
to make sure everything is ok/fix whatever's wrong with them.
Anyway, I'm going to start scouring the 'Net tonight to look for info
95 GC CV boot04 Jul 2004 19:04 GMT4
1995 Grand Cherokee Limited.  Torn CV boots.
I actually bought the proper boot from NAPA when the first one tore but
kinda chickened out when I got to thinking this was more involved than I
wanted to get.  Now both are torn.  I know I should just get with it or
CV kit install04 Jul 2004 17:36 GMT7
The Advance Adapters HD Conversion Kit and the Tom Woods  CV driveline
arrived yesterday, probably going to install next week-end.  If anyone on
the list has done this conversion, and found something that is not obvious
or not covered by the documentation I would appreciate a heads ...

I need a new tranny to replace my Peugeot 5-speed.
I am looking for a 1989 or newer Cherokee or Wrangler,
any body condition - I want to buy the entire vehicle,
cause I'm not sure when I'll get around to swapping trannys,

Hello Jeep owners world-wide.
Thought you might like to read my story of 14 months of painful ownership of a Jeep.
If you already have/had one then you might know what I'm talking about. If you were thinking of
buying one then please read this first:
Extended brake lines04 Jul 2004 05:10 GMT1
After installing my 4" rough country lift, I realized there weren't any
front brake line brackets with the kit (although I swear they said there
were -- but it was ordered back in February...).  So, should I go with new
stainless steel lines?  I've heard stock YJ lines are longer, ...

I don't expect there to be any really, but the June days are over, what's
