Camp Jeep trail difficulty?03 Jul 2004 21:24 GMT3
I just signed up for Camp Jeep in Virginia. I was too late to get the
information packet, so don't really know much about what is going on
there. I did register for one trail ride on the phone, the "D" trail
in the Difficult catagory I believe, which was the easiest of the

Temp gauge has never worked since I got jeep 8 months ago, never moved
from the bottom, the other day while driving I looked over and it was right
to the high mark, shut off engine and it went down, turn key back on and
right over to high, today it is back to normal, as in not ...
V8 5,2L Engine on Grand Cherokee '9703 Jul 2004 06:50 GMT10
I own a Grand Cherokee V8 5,2L engine. I've got 60,000 Miles. I'd like to
know how much miles this kind of engine could do, because I've heard so many
things on the engine fiability ?
It won't prevent me to cruise in Jeep, even if  in France the gas liter is
Willys/Ford Engine Swap?  Possible?03 Jul 2004 04:59 GMT40
       We've got a 1952 Willys CJ3A with a frozen motor.  Instead of
rebuilding it, will a Ford six cylinder (170/200/250?) fit the bellhousing?
If someone has done this, is there a list of helpful hints on the web for
doing this?  We have the usual range of questions, i.e, ...
Is it too late for Bigger tires?03 Jul 2004 03:24 GMT6
Hello fellow Jeep people. I have been lurking here for a few months now,
and have had a few questions answered without having to post a question.
I do, however, have a few more. I'll start with this one. I recently
acquired an '89' Wrangler Islander with the 258 in it. It is pushing
Help-Velcro Question03 Jul 2004 02:30 GMT2
Zipper shot on the rear "curtain" ('97 TJ), estimated repair was $200-$300
to replace.  Wondered if anybody has replaced with  Velcro?  Am thinking of
using !/2" strips on each side of top and 1" on the curtain itself after
removing the zippers "teeth".  Any  suggestions appreciated ...
Old wagoneer02 Jul 2004 21:10 GMT2
I have an 85 Grand wagoneer that needs lots of TLC and tools.
Unfortunately, I don't have the money to keep her restored and rust
free, so she needs a new home. About 175,000 miles, but runs good and
Im asking 1,700.  Any takers or ideas where I can post to sell her?
The more you learn about jeeps....02 Jul 2004 20:48 GMT6
A few days ago I was having a browse of road tests for cherokees and
something caught my eye. according to the equipment list, my 95 cherokee
should have a keyless entry, but I dont have a key fob for one. Unable to
contact previous owner, so I popped down to my local friendly(ish) ...

What are your direct comparisons in mud, rocks, and sidewall strength
between these two tires?

motor?02 Jul 2004 20:02 GMT3
Are you talking about the electric motor for power windows? If so, I would
check a local junkyard first, then head to the dealer with ~$100 for each
motor.

Used detroit02 Jul 2004 18:36 GMT5
Would you buy a used detroit for an AMC 20 rearend, $300.00 US?  Would be
about $100.00 US on top of that for shipping and duty. Or should I just bite
the bullet and pay the $900.00 Canadian for new, and no jokes about $300.00
US being $900.00 Can.
