Detroit rear, or Lockright F&B?02 Jul 2004 17:21 GMT2
If you had a choice, would you go with the detroit locker in rear only, or
go with lockright front and back. Given that 2 lockrights are about $150.00
Canadian less then the detroit. I'm changing gears, so now is the time to do
something, so the install cost of the detroit wont ...
Goodyear MT/R's: wet pavement, and tread wear...02 Jul 2004 15:25 GMT2
... are my two main concerns, after posting on the subject and reading a bunch
of archived stuff.
Do these things suck on wet pavement, say compared to BFG AT's (what I have on
the TJ now)?  It rains a LOT where I live.  OTOH, all that rain means mud, and

I need new window regulators for both the front and back passenger side
windows of my '89 Cherokee. Anyone know a good place online to order them
from? One other question: I know that the right and left regulators are
different but is there in difference between the front and rear ...

'96 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L - dies while driving......02 Jul 2004 02:47 GMT11
First time posting...the car has roughly 140k on it. The problem is, when
you're driving it just dies on you. The tach goes to zero and seconds later
there is no power. But, there are times that the tach goes to zero and it
does not die. No check engine light comes on, so this is ...
Why do Wranglers cost so much (compared to liberty)02 Jul 2004 00:50 GMT19
Thinking about a new vehicle.
I went to carsdirect.com and priced a pretty loaded
liberty limited (auto).  All options but chrome wheels,
engine block heater and u-connect blue tooth phone
TJ doors off, which mirrors?02 Jul 2004 00:44 GMT10
Decent weather has finally arrived in northern New England and along with
storing the snowblower I've been hankering to yank the full-doors off my TJ,
but don't have anything set-up for side view mirrors yet.
I'm looking at either a set of mirror relo brackets, some new CJ-style

and can't seem to find someone who sells them.
I can find Dana 18 14 & 15 count speedo gears.
4wd.com has 14 & 15 tooth gears for early CJ's
258 Weight?01 Jul 2004 22:48 GMT9
Anybody know the weight of my 258?
I am getting ready to pull it, but don't want to have to go pick my buddies
huge engine hoist, and have it in my garage for an extended period of time.
I thought it might be easier to use a hand winch or come-along from the
BFG vs Wrangler01 Jul 2004 21:48 GMT17
I was out at a Jeep shop today and was pricing tires.
I asked about BFG AT's and the guy turned me on to Wranglers instead.
Was wondering if anyone had any issues with Wrangler MT's.
And if anyone uses them as a daily driver?!
aftermarket water temp gauge01 Jul 2004 21:14 GMT5
99 TJ 2.5
I am going to install a sending unit for a aftermarket temperature
gauge. I do not want to remove the factory sender that goes to the computer.
I am thinking about cutting the heater hose as it comes off of the water

Looks Like I am going to go with new wheels on my o4 TJ so I can get the
32x11.5 tires.
the 31x10.5x15's just look to small with a 2" lift.
