Hello. Considering swapping the Moab's on my Rubi for either ARE or
Cragar D-Window steel wheels. Does anyone know how much the Moab wheels
weigh? Thanks much!

'98 Cherokee Fuel Gauge31 Aug 2004 22:13 GMT1
My fuel gauge occasionally sits at empty when I start the engine.
when that happens, all other gauges on the dash work properly.  After
awhile the gauge correctly goes to what the tank level is. If the tank
is half-full and I fill it, the gauge goes up to full.  I get the idea
33" Tyres on a TJ31 Aug 2004 18:45 GMT6
I am planning on running 33 x10.5 MTR's on my TJ, is it
possible to run them on the stock vehicle if I only use it for road
use while waiting for the 4" lift kit to arrive as  I need to modify
some parts to go from LHD to RHD.  This means that I can have the
What's it worth?31 Aug 2004 15:36 GMT11
On my way home from a job I stopped to look at a Jeep parted on the side
of the road with a "For Sale" sign in the window.  The sign claimed that
it was a "CJ-5" but they obviously don't know what they are talking about,
it was pretty clearly a DJ: fore-shortened hood and fenders ...
Drivers Seat Comparison XJ - TJ31 Aug 2004 14:55 GMT3
I'm currently in the porcess of selling my TJ and trying to find me a
XJ for a daily driver. I've read some reviews about the XJ's not being
all that comfortable in the drivers seat. No place for your left foot
and stuff like that.
OT Please No more US Presidential Politics31 Aug 2004 05:26 GMT12
Yah know, when someone posts a commercial post here, the poster gets flammed big
time, even if it is on topic and related to Jeeps.   So now we are in the US
Presidential election season and we've got people posting things that promote or
disrespect one candidate or the other.  ...
TJ engine swap - 4.0 to something with better MPG?31 Aug 2004 05:24 GMT60
I have a 97 TJ 4.0/manual thats been great on road and off - the only
consistent problem I have with the Jeep is the MPGs, way less than
advertised, I'm averaging 12-14 in city and about 16 on freeway.
I've checked everything out possible, and even taken it to the
Last LCIR run ever labor day weekend31 Aug 2004 03:22 GMT3
Hey folks,
Long time no see. This group got kinda boring so I left it for a while. It
seems nice here now.
LCIR is closing, again, or maybe not. They have been bluffing for years.
Code 11 - No Fire Problem31 Aug 2004 02:34 GMT2
Hope someone can help here :(
95 Wrangler 2.5L manual quit on the trail as if I had turned the key off. No
fire coming from coil to dist. Odd voltage, approx 7 volts coming into coil.
Replaced crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, coil, dist cap and rotor,

Dana 20 speedometer gear change30 Aug 2004 22:14 GMT1
I found a number of "calculators" online that tell me I should have a
31 tooth gear for 33" tires and 3.73 gears.  Some of these also
included a list of part numbers that should work at a Chrysler dealer
(31 GREEN 52068153).  These part numbers seem to be linked with
Stock Jeep Steering Wheel30 Aug 2004 13:01 GMT3
Does anyone know where to buy a new stock steering wheel for a 1988 Jeep
Wrangler with a gray leather wrap. I would prefer to keep it stock then to
change over to a grant. The dealers have them but they want far to much
money. Please advise. Thanks
Bigger Tyres on 95 XJ30 Aug 2004 09:44 GMT6
I'm looking to purchase a 95 XJ Cherokee Limited and would be most
appreciative of any feedback on how much rubber I can stuff under it and
what needs to be done to fit it (fender cutting, etc).  I wouldn't go bigger
than 31x10.5's (maybe 265/70's) and I will be lifting it by about ...
1987 Cherokee electrical30 Aug 2004 06:29 GMT3
I have a problem that involves the vent fan, instrument panel lights, and
front turn signals.  The jeep has set outside for the last 3 years and not
been driven.  In the process of cleaning it up for sale, I noticed that the
vent fan would not always run when it was switched on.  ...
