Ok, I've been researching which speedo gear to get for my Dana 300. I came up with 3 different answers. I can't find the link I had to the one that told me I needed a 34 tooth gear, but here's the links for the other two. 32 tooth gear

| dolly and hammer advice? | 02 Sep 2004 21:33 GMT | 3 |
I'm buying a 1/2 ton utility trailer, dunno the manufacturer but it was purchased new in 1948 through Sears. It has straight sides, not the dog-legged Bantam sides, and the fenders are more like wheel pants than the simple arch Bantam ones. Nice little thing that need a little ...

Hi. Just inherited a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo (4 L Auto). It has less than 25K miles and is really clean. Didn't get driven much over the years so worry about dried out seals and the like. I've changed some fluids and opted to have the local Jeep dealer do the transmission

| CJ7 Front Seat Problem | 02 Sep 2004 20:41 GMT | 3 |
I've got an '85 CJ7 and the front seat keeps falling backwards. I've heard this is very common on these seats and before I go and replace it ...is there any way to fix it? It's the original leather-like black CJ seat and it's in pretty good shape. I'd hate to just get rid of it.

I'm now the very proud owen of a new Jeep Ribicon. Cool! Now, should I change the oil after the first 1000 miles, or does Jeep put a special "break in" oil that should stay 'til 3000? How about an Oil (Filter) Magnet?

| thorough mud cleanup | 02 Sep 2004 04:13 GMT | 11 |
First, a question not about muddin: What's that I see on some 4x4's in pictures, looks like a brake rotor on the axle somehow tied into the steering? I haven't been able to find a good picture of what it looks like, but that's kinda it. It's on trucks with big tires, a

After driving my '96 GC for 8 years and almost 150k, I've noticed that at night the headlights are not as bright as years ago. I was wondering if there was something out there that would take off the road grime that has accumalted over the years?

Preferably used, need the rubber hood catches for BOTH sides of my 97 TJ. I've searched, dug through sites and come up dry. And the dealer wants about $50 for the pair (with my DCX employee discount). Can anyone point me towards a good source?
