Which speedo gear?02 Sep 2004 22:06 GMT9
Ok, I've been researching which speedo gear to get for my Dana 300.  I came
up with 3 different answers.  I can't find the link I had to the one that
told me I needed a 34 tooth gear, but here's the links for the other two.

dolly and hammer advice?02 Sep 2004 21:33 GMT3
I'm buying a 1/2 ton utility trailer, dunno the manufacturer but it was
purchased new in 1948 through Sears.  It has straight sides, not the
dog-legged Bantam sides, and the fenders are more like wheel pants than
the simple arch Bantam ones.  Nice little thing that need a little ...
1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo -- Transmission Fluid/Filter Change; TSB on Brake/Shift Interlock; Seat Belt Question02 Sep 2004 21:14 GMT5
Hi.  Just inherited a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo (4 L Auto).  It has less
than 25K miles and is really clean.  Didn't get driven much over the
years so worry about dried out seals and the like.  I've changed some
fluids and opted to have the local Jeep dealer do the transmission
CJ7 Front Seat Problem02 Sep 2004 20:41 GMT3
I've got an '85 CJ7 and the front seat keeps falling backwards. I've heard
this is very common on these seats and before I go and replace it ...is
there any way to fix it? It's the original leather-like black CJ seat and
it's in pretty good shape. I'd hate to just get rid of it.
Newbie Turbo question02 Sep 2004 17:49 GMT5
Im a newbie to 4x4 and my Cherokee is my first 4x4. Its a 2.5 Litre and is
about 8 weeks old :).  My concern is the turbo.  The salesman said that as
long as i wasn't revving the engine before i turn off the engine the turbo
would not need idling time to cool down.  The manual gives ...
Oil Magnet/When to change - New Jeep02 Sep 2004 13:59 GMT20
I'm now the very proud owen of a new Jeep Ribicon.  Cool!
Now, should I change the oil after the first 1000 miles, or does Jeep put a
special "break in" oil that should stay 'til 3000?  How about an Oil
(Filter) Magnet?

thorough mud cleanup02 Sep 2004 04:13 GMT11
First, a question not about muddin:  What's that I see on some 4x4's
in pictures, looks like a brake rotor on the axle somehow tied into
the steering?  I haven't been able to find a good picture of what it
looks like, but that's kinda it.  It's on trucks with big tires, a
Head Light Lenses02 Sep 2004 02:56 GMT3
After driving my '96 GC for 8 years and almost 150k, I've noticed that at
night the headlights are not as bright as years ago. I was wondering if
there was something out there that would take off the road grime that has
accumalted over the years?
Subwoofer For 97 TJ????02 Sep 2004 02:30 GMT6
Hey folks. Anyone got any idea's for a nice sounding subwoofer that I can
install in my TJ? I recently installed some 5 1/4 inch 3-way speakers in my
dash with some cool adapters I got off of eBay and now I'm ready for some low
end. I've seen a few things at www.quadratec.com but I ...
Need help finding a part02 Sep 2004 01:20 GMT2
Preferably used, need the rubber hood catches for BOTH sides of my 97 TJ.
I've searched, dug through sites and come up dry. And the dealer wants about
$50 for the pair (with my DCX employee discount).
Can anyone point me towards a good source?
What model 5-sp trans in '91 Cherokee?01 Sep 2004 23:07 GMT2
91 Cherokee, 4-cylinder, 5-speed manual.
Apparently there are 2 models of 5-speed trans for this year. Is there an
easy way to determine which this is, without crawling underneath and looking
for numbers?
97 Wrangler stalling/idle problem01 Sep 2004 21:22 GMT2
I have inherited a 97 Wrangler 2.5L auto with a stalling/idle problem,
I'm hoping someone here might have had a similar experience and can
suggest some solution.
The vehicle stalls almost every time when going from reverse to drive,
