Rocky-Road XJ lifts?31 Oct 2004 20:26 GMT3
I am considering a "complete" 2" lift from "Rocky Road Outfitters". This
includes 1.5" lift shackles with a .5" lift block for the rear, and 2" coil
spacers for the front. It also includes  "BPE Shock Extensions".
Questions:
Get the Yoke off31 Oct 2004 19:32 GMT1
I'm putting in my CV shaft on my 83 CJ7, D300.  Is there a trick to getting
the yoke off or just PB Blaster and something to pound with ?
I got the nut off fine, just the yoke off the shaft is giving me trouble.
Thanks,
Lift questions31 Oct 2004 17:25 GMT11
The time has come for me to upgrade my set-up.  I have decided to go with
Old Man Emu Heavy Duty suspension kit primarily for two reasons: (1) It is
locally available with 2 year warranty (2) I have a hard top and plan on
putting beefier bumpers and a winch.

Two new problems appeared this week.
First, the headlights come on for a second or so, every five to ten minutes,
while the car is parked and turned off.

Words simply escape me.
Although I wonder how many it would take to run a Jeep.
What's this battery picker-upper called?31 Oct 2004 01:11 GMT3
So I come out of the local watering hole after lunch, get in my '99 TJ and try
to start it.  ...nothing  ...the battery's deader'n a door nail. I got a jump
start, then drove it up to a repair shop where a buddy of my son works to get a
new battery.

95 Wrangler (Power Steering Line Change) + (Whistling Noise)30 Oct 2004 23:46 GMT2
The metallic parts in the middle of the 2 lines that are clamped
together cracked from old age.  I am not a mechanic by any means.  I
looked this procedure up in my Haynes manual but it does not tell how to
change the lines.  It appears to be very tough to get at.  Are there any

4.0 v6 MPI - Thank to your help on getting the tank down. It did take
some convincing but it eventually dropped. I replaced the fuel filter
and put in a shiny new pump. Connected everything back up, but left it
down to test just in case I screwed something up at it did not blow ...
Frame repair pics30 Oct 2004 18:59 GMT4
Well I finally cut and repaired the rusted area of my frame. Take a look at
the pics and let me know if I screwed anything up!
I decided not to put the crossmember "over" the ends of the frame, and
instead built it between. I hoped leaving it open would help it drain in the
upstream o2 sensor...97TJ30 Oct 2004 17:00 GMT6
Hey guys its been a while since I was last here... Hoping that you can shed
a bit of light on this subject.
Ever since I replaced my shattered exhaust manifold on the 4.0 it has been
eating an O2 sensor every year...at least it did till year before last when
Tera flex arms30 Oct 2004 16:29 GMT3
Playing around trying to rid some acceleration shake in my 99tj w/3inch Tera
system lift.  Am I right to think:
turning arms clockwise lengthens arms and decreases angle?
turning arms counter-clockwise shortens arms and increases angle?
Taking the doors off my TJ30 Oct 2004 13:58 GMT27
I cant seem to get them to come off.  I took off the bolts and tried to pull
