Well look like my problem with my abs is the passenger TONE WHEEL. Mechanic said he had to replace the whole axle, Some theet on the TONE WHEEL are completely gone. Can anyone tell me if the parts imself can be replace ? or i really need to replace the axle ?

My current beater is a 90 XJ 5spd 4.0 with 3.07 gears (D35/D30), 31" tires. One of my part XJ has the same axles as the beater with the exception of 4.10 gears. Could I swap the gearing over to the XJ with 3.07? All I am looking for is a little more gearing. If this thing makes ...

Went from 3.08 to 4.56 (based on suggestion from this group) on the TJ. Now running 3K RPM at 75 mph, a little high to suit me. Plenty of power in 5th gear! Probably go with 35's when I ware out the 33's... should be just right then! (The question in the back of my mind now: ...

I took the plunge and am picking up my '03 TJ Sport tomorrow night!! Biggest difference between it and the '97 I used to have is I'll have the 4.0L and a hard top. Don't know what I'll do in the summer yet - I'll be too broke for a while to spring for a soft top. Maybe a bikini ...

I'm looking at a 78 CJ7 all original, 304 with Quadratrac. I'm not real familiar with the quadratrac is it reliable and tough? Or should I steer clear and stick with the danas and t-176, t18 etc. Also with the 78 -the 304 is not as de-tuned as later models -right?
