What size socket on hub?03 Oct 2004 18:36 GMT3
Hey Everyone,
I'm finally putting the 6-bolt Warn premium hubs on my Scrambler.  I'm
combining the brakes from a narrow track Dana 30 with my wide-track '82 Dana 30
axle.  What size hub tool do these things take?  I can't find anything on them,
Service manual's on CD (via eBay) - any good?03 Oct 2004 18:26 GMT17
Has anyone purchased any of the Jeep service manuals that are on CD.  Lots
listed on eBay and a lot cheaper than the paper version.  Are they a copy of
the real manual or some cheap look alike?

More engine miss problems03 Oct 2004 16:05 GMT3
All,
Thanks to Bill & Mike for the help last time.  This is getting silly.  I
replaced the fuel injector, and the problem changed.  At first, everything
was fine.  After running it for a while (~20 minutes), it developed another

Half door latch spring02 Oct 2004 22:06 GMT6
So I have a YJ half door here, and the outside handle doesn't work.
So I took off the inside panel, and the rod that attaches to the handle had slipped out.
I put it back in the slot.
However, there was also a spring laying loose that is obviously supposed to pull
transmission diag - does it make sense?02 Oct 2004 20:15 GMT2
In an earlier post I described how the trans in my 94 grand cherokee laredo
I6 was late on shifting from 2-3, and sometimes 3-4.  You'd have to get
above 3000 RPMs and let off the gas to get it to shift to the next gear.
1-2 is fine.  This car had trans rebuilt at 33k miles and ...
Jeep delayed start - starting problems02 Oct 2004 18:09 GMT3
Over the past 6 months, right after changing my fuel filter, I've
experienced starting problems with my 93 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 liter. I
had to crank it several times before it starts, so I thought. I just
assumed that my fuel pump was on the fritz, but maybe not. I noticed

Starting Cj5 for the first time in 5 years02 Oct 2004 08:55 GMT6
Ok so the long term weather forecast for Chicago looks like snow. I bought
an old Cj5 ( 1978) with a plow on the front to plow the rear alleyway as the
city doesn't really get to it until much later on. For the last five years
my trusted Cherokee ( 1988 170k miles ) has been able to ...
