Reinstalling Seat Belts and a broken bolt22 Oct 2004 16:21 GMT2
I removed the seatbelts to have the Rhino liner sprayed in. Is there a
trick to getting the belts to release so that I have enough slack to
re-install them?
One of the bolts for the rear seat mounting bracket snapped off during

'95 YJ Battery Tray22 Oct 2004 00:52 GMT4
Just got off the phone with the area dealers, who all inform me the
part's been discontinued.  Mine's completely corroded with battery
acid, needs replacement desperately.  Any ideas where I could source
such a part, new ideally, used if necessary?
Fresh air duct 1976 CJ - Help Bill!22 Oct 2004 00:45 GMT9
I figure that bill has a link on this one.  Here's the deal.  The radio will
not fit because there is a duct or hose or something in the way.  I looked
at the pictures in the Haynes manual and I examined the vehicle.  The
examination was not conclusive.
Rough Idle and exessive smoke22 Oct 2004 00:39 GMT5
I recently bought a 79 Cj-5. I am having 2 problems that are beginning to
concern me. The first is that the engine is smoking exessively. It is not
oil, but rather gas. Sometimes it won't smoke at all and other times I
can't see behind me theres so much smoke.
Jeep special tools22 Oct 2004 00:01 GMT5
Where can I find the special tools recommended in the Jeep service manual?
They are not available at the local dealer's.
Specifically I am interested in the differential special tool
D-348 (dummy bearing). I plan to change the differential in my front
Purchasing question21 Oct 2004 20:35 GMT5
Just wanted to know, if this makes sense or not.  Still milling
though the options on whether to go for the liberty or grand cherokee laredo
4wd. I got to sit in the 2005 cherokee  but not drive it yet. The 2005 seat
rails are longer this year, and the seat goes further back ...
TJ Dana 44 axle converstion 21 Oct 2004 17:33 GMT9
I have a '97 TJ sport.  My brother gave me two dana 44 axles from his 1972
Scout II (rear and front).  The question I have is: How hard is it to swap
the Dana 30/35's from my current jeep and put these on.  Are there any
resources on the internet which show how to do this swap.  Are ...

Why are these not available in NY and can one be purchased out of state? Is
there some reason you could not register it in NY?
Anyone know pricing or has it not been announced.

rear diff 94 GC21 Oct 2004 14:20 GMT5
Hi all.  There is a lot of noise coming from the rear end of my jeep.  When
I had it in the shop recently, the mechanic said it sounds like the
differential bearing is going.  He also indicated that this is a pretty big
job, and most shops don't do this sort of work.
'02 JEEP Liberty Limited21 Oct 2004 12:14 GMT87
Ok, I lied. I kept that Liberty. It "was" beautiful in and out. So I couldn't resist keeping it. Well here I am eating crow. To that member that sent me that message coming down hard on me for getting that Liberty, I apologize for my response. I was moving in a full patter at ...
Grease Points21 Oct 2004 04:35 GMT10
How many and where are the grease points on my new TJ (R,04)?
My clutch is "creaking" a bit, also.  I could have it serviced under the
warranty, but don't want to leave it for a day, if it's something I can take
care of in a few minutes.  Suggestions?
