'88 Wrangler 2.5L, 4cyl, carburated. Replaced the battery, and in the process apparently knocked or pulled something loose, now it cranks but doesn't start. I tried to test for spark by hooking a timing light to plug #1, it's not even flickering at all.

I just purchased a 2nd-hand 1994 Cherokee with the 4L six, and I have a question about the timing chain. My Honda Accord has overhead valves driven by a timing belt that must be replaced periodically or else. Does the timing chain require scheduled replacement? Do the valves

Okay, so the 98' Cherokee I just picked up (to replace my beloved wrecked 96) is great, EXCEPT for the severe clunking sound in the right front somewhere when I hit a bump, pothole, etc. Drives nice, tight, tracks well. etc.

Looking at a 90YJ with a 4" lift and 33" tires. Has the 2.5L and the 5spd. Red, rag top. 180K. Just how long does the 2.5L last? thanks Carl
