| Gladiator | 11 Feb 2005 21:00 GMT | 5 |
Has anyone seen the new Gladiator or know much about it? I read a review of it that was most generous. I have several questions if anyone has the info: 1. Will it be available in gas? 2. Will it be available with anything other than the canvas top? 3. Will it have other options for ...

| Any experience with Mobil One filters? | 11 Feb 2005 16:12 GMT | 10 |
I have been putting in Mobil One oil sine I picked up my 97 TJ six years ago. I had been using an extra duty oil filter, unaware that Mobil One had an oil filter. In the fall I put in a Mobil One filter and my oil pressure ran high - over 42#s. The owner's handbook said

Looking to get a welder that will mostly be for doing body work on the Jeep and some other bits of metal work in the shop. What do you guys recommend? The budget is about $500 CDN + $100 for the gas bottle. I'm thinking mig, 220V with gas feed. Don't know much else about what to ...

| I'm Through With AutoZone! <long rant> | 10 Feb 2005 16:34 GMT | 6 |
Well fellow Jeep people, I am through with AutoZone! First they wanted $214+ for a radiator (that was another thread). I ended up finding one at another 'local' parts store for $131.00. I needed a new bottom hose, so the guy looks it up in the computer, mumbles a little and brings ...

| blown engine... rebuild or replace? | 10 Feb 2005 08:40 GMT | 12 |
My wife had to keep driving after the head gasket let go. The engine is toast. Any thought on whether it better to rebuild my engine, or buy a rebuilt engine, or even buy a used junkyard engine? -jeff

| 2004 TJ Radio Removal? | 10 Feb 2005 01:52 GMT | 2 |
Trying to take my stock radio out of my 2004 TJ. I have the front Panel cover off and the radio exposed but there seems to be a metal bracket attached to the rear of the radio somehow that I can not see. I can barely get my hand behind the radio after I pulled out the

| New Ham Radio in my XJ | 09 Feb 2005 19:10 GMT | 17 |
I put an ICOM ic-2000 in my XJ today. It went on the right side of the hump. I drilled the roof and put a small whip in the middle in front of the rack. It would be scary to drill one of the new cars but the old jeep is kinda fun to take power tools to. The icom fits nice and ...

| 90 XJ Won't start | 09 Feb 2005 16:35 GMT | 3 |
It all started with a leaking o ring where #1 injector enters the intake. I replaced all o rings and when I tried to start it it fired a few times a little hard and started sounding different when turning over, a little higher pitched and more of a load / drag on the starter.
