| Howling/thumping noise while driving 97TJ | 05 Feb 2005 00:20 GMT | 3 |
Hey folks, can anyone tell me what the problem might be? It's a '97 TJ, 4.0, Auto, no lift, 31" tires, no driveline mods. When i'm on the gas, at just about any speed, it howls. When I let off the gas, it thumps. If I feather the gas so that it's just at a sweet spot where ...

About 2 weeks ago, I put new plugs and a new air filter in my 03 sport. I used the stock champion plugs. It has about 45k on it. Oh yeah, it is a 5-speed, 6cyl, all stock, etc. No problem with the plugs. It was the air filter.

Hi all... long time since I posted here. My '02 Wrangler Sport rear end "went" according to the service dept.... I was coming off a highway and merging onto another road when I had a loud bang... I thought I had hit a boulder it was so bad. At that point, from 15 mph on up, I

I want to know the how to tell what I have on my jeep. My best guess is that they are whatever came stock on a '76 CJ-7 with quadratrac (if that matters). I was unbolting the front springs last night and I noticed that the front cover was dented. I could take if off, hammer it ...

Have you heard about this new hunting reality TV show that's seeking participants? It's called "Hunting for Bambi" and it's like Fear Factor meets Girls Gone Wild. 6 guys get to hunt 12 naked women in the woods with paintball guns. Sounds like it should be a new Olympic

I have a 97 Wrangler TJ and I'll be lifting it (3-4 inches) and going with 33x12.5x15 tires soon. My question is does anyone have any advice on any of these replacement flares to avoid or which ones are the best? I made this list from a recent 4wheeldrive hardware catalog.
