Hey folks, can anyone tell me what the problem might be?  It's a '97 TJ,
4.0, Auto, no lift, 31" tires, no driveline mods.  When i'm on the gas, at
just about any speed, it howls.  When I let off the gas, it thumps.  If I
feather the gas so that it's just at a sweet spot where ...

Looking for some wheeling in Central/Northern Idaho.  Either for some long trails
(2-3 days) or an area with a lot of trails where we could spend a few days.  Anyone

and a no-slip locker on the rear,
will i trash the rear doing this?

Does anybody have any experience with an Unlimited's hardtop??  Can it be
lifted by two guys without serious injury? ;-)  Seems like it would be
considerably heavier than a regular TJ hardtop

About 2 weeks ago, I put new plugs and a new air filter in my 03 sport.
I used the stock champion plugs.  It has about 45k on it. Oh yeah, it
is a 5-speed, 6cyl, all stock, etc.
No problem with the plugs.  It was the air filter.
