12VDC Air COmpressors27 Feb 2005 01:37 GMT2
Hey Guys, I'm going to install a 12VDC air compressor in my 01 TJ.  I am
leaning toward the Quick Air 3 but wanted to know if anybody has experience
in this area.  There are also Thomas, Viair and Max Air to name a few.
What about the air tanks that are available with these ...
Liberty -- Servicing Transmission26 Feb 2005 19:10 GMT3
Hello... At my last scheduled service -- (58,000 km), the service man
said that the automatic transmission had not been included in the major
one I had the time before, and was due for an oil change.  I said go
ahead... Following the service, I noticed on the drive home, when I

I've searched for a while on google and for the life of me I can't find
anything.   Does anyone know what the Renagade package added to a 2000 Jeep

I mean, besides the Renegade decal.
Battery Charging Voltage26 Feb 2005 06:59 GMT50
Voltmeter (on TJ gauge) has started creeping up from below 14 volts ( 13.8
? ) and now reads consistently around 14.1  Battery is around 4 years old,
but always birls the engine round quickly. Is this most likely to be an
early warning of battery failure, alternator failure or ...

98 Jeep Cherokee Window26 Feb 2005 02:39 GMT9

When is best time to trade in/up?26 Feb 2005 01:33 GMT18
I'm driving an 02 GC that's getting close to 50,000 miles. I know most
fleets seem to rotate/trade their cars @ 3 years or 50,000 miles (whichever
comes first).
Is there a good reason for this? Do jeeps resale/tradein values flux much?
Unlock hubs in 94 Cherokee26 Feb 2005 01:15 GMT31
I just purchased a 2nd-hand 1994 Cherokee with the 5-speed manual,
part-time 4WD tranny.   The previous owner told me that you needed to
back it up to unlock the hubs after having it in 4WD.  I had to do this
for my 88 Trooper.  But I haven't seen anything in the Jeep owner's
OK...Here's a strange one.25 Feb 2005 23:26 GMT8
My Jeep (98 Wrangler Sport 4.0) is having a wierd issue. If I start it cold,
and drive, it drives fine UNTIL I stop and shut it off for a few minutes
(stopping at a store, ect.) When I get back in and drive, the thing
hesitates like you wouldn't believe. The only way I can get it ...
TJ windshields?25 Feb 2005 22:20 GMT10
I have a good one. A couple years ago on my old '97 TJ the windshield
mysteriously cracked. Parked it in the driveway and the next time I drove it
the windshield was cracked.
Last week my wife used my '03 TJ and parked it in the driveway where it sat
