2000 Cherokee Sport.4L,4WD 80,000 miles. Every now and then my oil gauge pegs at 80 when I start the vehicle.If it pegs when I start the car it will remain there for the entire trip .If at startup it works correctly it will remain working the entire trip.

I think I've got a throwout bearing going - at least when it is making racket it sounds like a dry throwout - but that's the rub: it isn't consistant. 88 Comanche, 94 YJ clutch/ax15, external slave. Somewhat worse when warm (like in after a 600 mile dash last week). Depress

I've had an urge to put a CJ 3a or M38 body on a shortened Toyota pickup 4X4 frame & drive train. Anyone seen one or done such a thing? Just wondering about the pitfalls.. Thanks for any input. Greg

I have a 97 TJ with no lift. It came to me with 31x10.5x15 tires on 15x8 wheels with 3.5" of backspacing. There was no rubbing of the tires with this size. My question to the group is does anyone know if I can use these wheels and a 4" suspension lift and fit 33x12.5x15 ...
