So I'm getting my Altima's brake's done this morning (300.00 with a change
in Serp Belt) and I see across the street a Body/Paint shop.  So I find out
the Altima's going to take longer than I can wait so I hoofed it home and

XJ Video with faster link16 Mar 2005 22:33 GMT3
Here, the other link I posted was too slow. Heres a faster one, much faster.
The gold XJ was bought for 200 bucks and driven till the wheels fell off,
jumping through the air. Look at those control arms torn in half. It
actually ran with NO upper control arms and three wheels. ...
Gas Cap vs Chk Eng Lite16 Mar 2005 21:05 GMT24
RE 2002 Jeep Cherokee, 6 Cyl.
I had a problem passing the State of NJ emissions test.  The guy said it was
the gas cap.  But, it passed and I happily left.  Now, I have a Chk Engine
Light.  The car runs beautifully.  Could this be the gas cap acting up?  Is

Ok, first of my hopefully few stupid questions regarding my new (to
me) '97 JC 4.0l...
When I turn the aircon on the electric fan runs for between 9-15
seconds, followed by 5 seconds off, depending on the interior cabin

Where the heak is the flasher module on my 2002 TJ?16 Mar 2005 04:43 GMT4
Its not where the Hanes manual says it should be.  I have a 2002 TJ-X.  It
should be on the right side of the steering column, being held by a bracket
but its not there.
Theres a guide for a 2000 TJ somewhere online and it shows it in the proper
1998 Cherokee XJ.. electrical/headlights ?16 Mar 2005 04:38 GMT10
Hey all,
Another issue popped up.  The headlights work fine, both high and low.  But
unless you push the switch in to turn off the headlights before I turn the
Jeep off, the lights won't go out.  If I turn the Jeep off (ignition

I had the dealer replace the motor a few months ago on the driver's side.
Now..the passenger side isn't working. But, unlike the last incident, the
motor seems to run and sound OK in both directions (no "grinding" sound),
but it just won't raise or lower the window. Also, the ...

how much to ac air conditioning in my 94 jeep wrangler?16 Mar 2005 00:42 GMT1
This year I'm interested in not being a tough guy and getting AC put in
my toy. Will it cost be an arm and a leg or just a leg? What does an
after market ac setup cost in a ballpark figure?

Speedometer Gear15 Mar 2005 20:35 GMT5
After adding 4.88 gears and 35" tires to a 78 CJ-7, the speedometer is
way out of whack.  I can find tons of places on the net telling me to
change out the speedometer gear, but I have not been able to find a
place to buy the actual gear.  Does anyone know a place that sells
