I have an erratic fuel gauge in my TJ 91. It will read from 3/4 to full when there is should be approximately 1/2 tank. I see some trouble shooting techniques online which I will try. Any suggestions here would be appreciated. But lets say it is not the gauge or the wiring, will I

Thanks for the help everyone with my oil pressure problem. I found that it is the oil sending unit as expected. The problem is that the wire/connector going into it is popping out. It is connected but it has like a little rubber thing that slides into

This is on my 87 YJ - When I turn the key on the gauge pegs out. Start it up - and it stays pegged. Pull the wire off the sender - and it goes back to zero. Re-install it and the reading is correct to the water temp. What the heck is going on?

I've noticed when the tank is full on my cj-8, gas spills back out of the filler when I'm driving (bumpy roads, etc), even though the gas cap is on. Is that sheet metal flap inside of the filler supposed to prevent this? Mine doesn't seem like it seals, but I'm not sure if it is ...

I have a 92 wrangler. It shifts dowm fom 1 to 5 fine, but downshifting it does not like to engage especially from 4 to 3 3 to 2. Is this most likely synchronizers that need to be replaced? ----------------------------------------------------------------
