Can the lower steering shaft (power steering, no tilt) be replaced
without removing the column - ie, everything is done under the hood only?

My CJ7 is having fits on me! 18 Mar 2005 23:06 GMT14
My CJ7 is having a bad week....  I have been neglecting it.  Grrrr....
My wife and I had a chance to get away last weekend so I figured I would
put a new air filter in it and a gas filter while I was there.  It also
was acting like a bad distributor cap when it was wet out so I got ...

1st gear and speed up there seems to be an unbalanced .."wobble" to the

driveshaft be modified i any way?

Hey everybody! I posted a message a few months ago regarding a project i was
all stoked about. I bought a '93 YJ that was an insurance salvage vehicle
and planned on having a couple of friends do the body over, install a 4"
suspension kit, repaint it and in other words, make her ...

Hi all, the transmission in my 94 GC is shot.  It won't get out of first.  I
don't know how much it will cost to have pulled and repaired.  It's been
going south for a good solid year.  First it was hard to get into 3rd, had
to modulate the gas.  Then it became impossible to get ...
Pinion angle, revisited...18 Mar 2005 16:12 GMT9
Ok, I got under the TJ and dropped the pinion a little (adjusting the UCAs
accordingly). I still have vibration at 55+. This weekend I'll probably drop
it a little more to see if that does the trick... I guess the option is put
spacers on the t-case skid, but it doesn't seem like ...

Help with speed sensor part# & where to purchase.18 Mar 2005 14:52 GMT1
Based on a non functioning speedometer / odometer and the fact the
clutch was recently replaced, I think I should go ahead and purchase
the possible fix, the gear/sensor connected to the transfer case. It is
for a 92 wrangler , 4.0L, manual. It may have been installed properly
93 Grand Cherokee starting problems (coil?)18 Mar 2005 12:58 GMT3
OK, my friend, visiting from out of town, has a 93 grand Cherokee V8
that stopped working yesterday. They replaced the coil, plugs and
distributor (but not the wires) last month, but we figured anyway that
was the problem, so we just replaced the distributor, and wires today
