Blow-by question12 Apr 2005 16:20 GMT5
I know that blow-by has been discussed here a number of times, and it

people with 258's that have the problem and offered advice that I've
read here, all the way to changing the oil fill cap. My question is

Just got a 1989 Cherokee 4.0L with 240k.  Oil pressure with a cold
start is in the 40 psi range, but after it's good and warm, drops to
about ~5 psi at idle in gear.  Cruising at 50 with a warm engine, I'm
at about 25-30 psi.  The range is about the same as my '91 (20-45psi,

I just got an '87 Cherokee Laredo. Once upon a time it was a 4wd, but
the last owner wrecked it and it's now a 2wd. I've never touched

to get it back to 4wd (VW bugs are what I know, and my baja didn't come
