I've got a '96 ZJ with 155k on it, I know the owners manual calls for a
certain type of oil, but I was wondering what the groups thoughts were on
different types of oil for that high of mileage.

Slick new option to toggle from map to satellite image. Some areas in

Well after selling my YJ back in 2001 I've been trying to figure a way
to get back into a Jeep ever since.  I finally did it a few weeks ago
without selling my wife, her car or the two kids and landed a 97 TJ
sport from a dealer.  Upon taking the Jeep to my local mechanic for PA

Why does my 2002 JGCL 4.7L H.O. growl when you step on the gas? "It
litteraly growls" Is it supposed to do that? And also when it's sitting idle
it's how can I explain it? Sounds like a hum yeah that's it a hum and
deffintely coming from exhaust. Is it supposed to hum like that? ...

Ok, why do my Jeeps always come up with the strange problems???
So my wife calls ands says she accidentally went to start our 88
Cherokee in gear and it bumped to take off but she shut it down before
it could start.

My TJ's been making a lot of noises when steering lately.  To the point I
could hold my cell phone out the window and the person on the other end
could hear the grinding.
After much checking, it seemed that the tie rod end at the drag link was the

Either there is not a lot of info, or I am using the wrong key words to
search with.   I am trying to recalibrate the speedometer on a 84 CJ7 that
now has a T-18 transmission.  Also the gears have been swapped to 4.56.  Any
links as to where to look to find the right part or to ...
