I'm trying to ID an auto tranny I have.  I know Jeep used the Chrysler 904
and the 999 in their 80's era CJ's.  Does anyone know how to tell the two
apart?  The 904's were used behind the 4cyl and the 999 behind the 6cyl
engines.  It's my understanding that the cases are exactly ...

Well I broke down and bought a new steering wheel for my '98 XJ.  The
old one was wearing out and I found a new factory wheel for $75 on
eBay...

The lock cylinder has a connection "tab" connecting the arm linkage to
the locking/door latch  mechanism of the door. This tab is broken. Do
you usualy have to purchase the whole latch / lock mechanism as a whole
or an you get specific parts for it?

I'm looking for some advice from anyone that may have thoughts on swapping
axles. I was at the junk yard this morning looking for a cheap way out of my

I have a leaky sunroof on the right hand side of my JGC.  The Drainage
hole on that side is clogged and I heard that using air pressure will
relieve the clog.  Where exactly is the drainage hole located on the

surrounding the bearing where the prop joins
any thoughts? ...and how easy?
