I'm trying to ID an auto tranny I have. I know Jeep used the Chrysler 904 and the 999 in their 80's era CJ's. Does anyone know how to tell the two apart? The 904's were used behind the 4cyl and the 999 behind the 6cyl engines. It's my understanding that the cases are exactly ...

The lock cylinder has a connection "tab" connecting the arm linkage to the locking/door latch mechanism of the door. This tab is broken. Do you usualy have to purchase the whole latch / lock mechanism as a whole or an you get specific parts for it?

My temp gauge stopped working on my 92 YJ 4.0. Neddle is not moving at all so I'm assuming a broken wire or a bad / disconnected sueding unit. I looked around the block and I don't see anything it may be. Where is the sending unit located and is there a ohm / resistance measurement ...

I have a leaky sunroof on the right hand side of my JGC. The Drainage hole on that side is clogged and I heard that using air pressure will relieve the clog. Where exactly is the drainage hole located on the bottom of the Jeep?
