95 JGC with oil leak22 Apr 2005 02:44 GMT6
I have a 95 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0L straight six and 108K miles.
Where do these things tend to leak from?  Rear main seal?  Valve cover?
It's dripping ... I'm tired of it ... and I'm wondering if there's anything
I can really do.
Steering box leak21 Apr 2005 21:16 GMT1
Can the input shaft seal be replaced without removing to box (my TJ)?
Anyone done this?

Canisters "Discontinued"? Kinda long :(21 Apr 2005 16:16 GMT1
Well, my questions regarding the canister are probably getting a little
old, so I figured I'd buy one just in case I needed one. I'd been
planning on replacing vacuum lines and doing some "canister" testing
this weekend. I called NAPA, they had nothing in their computer and told
no Dash lights.21 Apr 2005 13:17 GMT7
Sheesh,
I just figure out the blinker problem.. THEN a headlight goes out, now I
have no dash/console lights.
Fuses are ok, so how do I get into the dash? Is console hard to get off?
Recomended Lifts???21 Apr 2005 09:33 GMT3
Looking to put a 4" lift on  a 1990 Cherokee 4.0L.  I need to stay within a
budget of under $1000.00 Cdn.  I will also be doing the majority of work
myself.  Any sites or manufacturers better.  I will be driving this on and
off road, and want the best of both.  thanks for any help.

strange rattle noise GONE20 Apr 2005 19:22 GMT7
well, we pulled the timing chain off and it was sloppy as all hell. There
are two flanges on the cover, looks like a tensioner goes there maybe, they
were almost eaten off! I was HAPPY to see that. So, the noise is gone AND it
seems more responsive at higher RPM, is that my ...
2004 TJ Replacing full hard doors with full soft doors20 Apr 2005 18:06 GMT1
I recently bought a 2004 TJ with full hard doors and a soft top. I'd
like to get some full soft doors for summer/spring time and easy
removal. The only ones i've seen available are the ones from Best Top.
My question is, will these fit without out needing new door frame
grease boots20 Apr 2005 14:44 GMT9
Are there any gotchas or recommendations on replacing torn grease boots on
the drag link/tie rod and the steering knuckle/tie rod?  Two of them are
leaking grease after a little mild trail riding this weekend.
I'm thinking that I just loosen the bolt, use a tie rod puller to ...

95 JGC Catalytic Converter20 Apr 2005 03:59 GMT1
With 108K miles on it, I've noticed a rattle in the converter.  I was under
there today and just giving the converter a gentle thump with the heal of my
hand, I can hear it.  It's not like a bunch of broken pieces (like a ceramic
unit that's collapsed) but more like a large chunk ...
Lateral stress on sway bar mounts20 Apr 2005 00:45 GMT5
The sway bar discos that came with the lift kit on my XJ are too tall - They
bottom out on the fenderwell. I re-installed the stock links, but I would
still like to have removeable links. The sway bar connects to the axle by
the bottom of the link. The bottom of the link rides on a ...
Interesting Jeep in the woods20 Apr 2005 00:36 GMT9
Well gang, I made it back out to the woods today and took some pictures
of that strange (to me) Jeep.
It looks like you guys were right about the engine (big surprise!), it
does look like it says Jeep Tornado 230 on the cam cover.  The
