I've got a '94 YJ and the previous owner had put 31" tires on it. They do clear but are only about an inch (or so) from hitting the fenders (flares). I'm using this jeep as a daily driver and most likely wont have it off road (maybe a trail here or there, I wanted it for going

I have a '05 Wrangler that came with a hard top. I just installed the Bestop Sunrider soft top. I'm wondering if I have to take off the soft top hardware when I go to put the hard top back on in the winter.. Thanks!

Well after arguing myself blue with a 'mechanic' that says no way a Jeep with a carb can pass emissions in California if you disable the emissions computer or do a 'Nutter' on it after the first guy I think to put the directions online:

1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport (purchased used) with 97k on it. I get a front end shudder -most of the time but not always-. When it happens it's right at 70mph and it stays for as far up as I dare push it (say 85mph). note I don't say shimmy... the motion is front to rear
