98 GRAND CHEROKEE BATTERY BEING DRAINED11 May 2005 21:15 GMT29
As indicated something is killing my battery,  Thought it was the battery
myself because I had just recently replaced the headlight module after is
shorted out and left the headlight on to drain the battery.
Now the battery is being drained.  Brand new battery drained in three days.
A/C CLUTCH SOLENOID11 May 2005 20:46 GMT26
Have an 98 Grand Cherokee
The  a/c clutch solenoid is staying engaged and running down my battery.
Does any one know if this is a ground seeking or power seeking circuit to
activate the solenoid.
4.0 my YJ11 May 2005 18:18 GMT17
I've got an 89 YJ with the 2.5L. It's got 94k original miles and runs well.
I also have an 89 XJ with the 4.0. 138K miles runs well. Both have good
5spds with good clutches and good NP231's.
Is it possible to swap the 4.0 into the wrangler? Will the harnesses

LP Dana 30 Housings11 May 2005 17:53 GMT8
Can anybody tell me whether the Dana 30 axle housings and gears are the same
or not between a 2002 TJ Sport and a '98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited? They
are both low pinion housings with 3.73 gears. The Grand has CV shafts and
ABS, the TJ has good old U-Joints and no ABS. However, the ...
Losing Umph uphill11 May 2005 17:51 GMT4
Hello again. I am losing my umph going uphill _sometimes_! This was
main reason/concern about the canister. I have replaced the choke
pull-off, fuel filter, and fuel pump. I have to go over a 'hill' on my
way to work every night and sometimes it is no problem. Other times, it
89 xj steering sloppy11 May 2005 16:44 GMT3
Is there a simple fix for sloppy steering on my '89 xj  4.0? or do I need a
new/rebuilt steering box, etc...?
Update: overheating 4.0L11 May 2005 13:35 GMT6
Well I had a few people take a look at the engine and all signs pointed to
the water pump.  So I changed it and the thermostat just to make sure,
flushed the heater core and the rad, and cleaned out the overflow bottle.  I
filled the system and let it run with the cap off, and it ...
Is 2.4 I4 really enough for a Wrangler?11 May 2005 12:08 GMT33
I live in Chile and the only engine option for a Wrangler is a 2.4L gasoline
I4.  It seems to me that this engine is not really suited for this truck.
It seems to me that the 2.8 I4 diesel in the Liberty (Cherokee down here)
would be a much better choice, but alas, it's not ...
Dead battery (don't laugh)11 May 2005 05:37 GMT15
Well, I left the lights on this evening and I come out to a dead battery.
Turn the key and all I get is "click". I poulled out the cables and got a
jump to get it started (drove around for about 10-15 minutes) but it won't
stay running without goosing the gas. I ask you not to ...
90 XJ ABS power booster11 May 2005 03:49 GMT12
I have an XJ and the brakes are very hard to depress. A friend said that the
power booster is not functioning and needs to be replaced. He also said that
I should convert the brakes from ABS to conventional power brakes because it
would take a boat load of cash to fix it. Has ...
