Wrangler Catalytic Converters06 May 2005 00:14 GMT2
Fellow Jeepers, I am now getting my third catalytic converter put on my 1997
Jeep Wrangler. I only have 79000 miles on it. The factory converter went out
when I had about 40000 miles, it was covered by the emissions warranty. The
next converter went out about 25,000 miles later ...

96 Grand Cherokee Water on Passenger Side05 May 2005 19:31 GMT1
1996 Grand Cherokee A/C
Every once in a while the front passenger side gets flooded with water from
beneath the dash. I think the A/C evaporator pan overflows. Sometimes the
A/C does not blow even cool air. Could this be because ice has formed on
92' YJ Lug pattern vs 01' cherokee05 May 2005 18:44 GMT1
I was going to buy 15x7 rims off someone with a 01' cherokee sport(XJ)
for my YJ. Before I go 60 miles out of my way, will they mount on a 92
wrangler?
I've heard that they were different, from one place, but a rim
Over heating 4.0L05 May 2005 15:00 GMT10
90 Cherokee 4.0L  back on road after winter, it now overheats.  I changed
the thermostat and refilled.  Still overheats.  I thought that maybe it
could be an air lock or something, but after playing with the system I can't
seem to get it any better.  I tried burping the system by ...
Time for body tub replacement05 May 2005 13:56 GMT2
Well, it's 20 years old next month, and the time has arrived for a
fiberglass replacement body tub. Two decades of Ohio winters have taken a
serious toll. I've had to relocate the seat belt anchors, and I've patched
the floor several times in a futile effort to keep water out.  ...
Re: overheating 4.0L05 May 2005 13:32 GMT2
The thermostat is in the right way, and the rad is newer.  The electric fan
is not kicking in but when jumped to the battery it will spin.  When looking
in the overflow bottle the coolant is just barely moving.  The jug fills up
a bit if I rev the engine.  I will take out the ...
need part for factory TJ soft top05 May 2005 12:27 GMT7
Anyone know where I can get one of those plastic caps that go on either
end of the center top bow on a factory soft top ('97 TJ)?  It's used to
attach the top and side bows and I lost one.  They are not sold
separately at the dealer but as part of the entire bow assembly for
Grand Cherokee fault codes05 May 2005 01:52 GMT1
This morning when starting my 2001 Grand Cherokee, it popped and idled a bit
rough, then smoothed out....but I noticed the engine malfunction
light...after looking up the code 0305, the description  is...... Misfire

2001 grand cherokee laredo funny trans shifting04 May 2005 23:32 GMT1
We have a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo.
Just last week, something has changed with the trans
and stopping/starting.  It appears that from a dead stop,
that the trans does not start in 1st, but rather 2nd - I think.
bad safety inspection karma04 May 2005 19:07 GMT14
Does this only happen to me?
I have spend the past few nights with the jeep "studying" for the state
safety and emissions test.   The jeep is running great now, and I have taken
care of a few odd things (like mud flaps, and the mirror that came off a
