Finnally got myself a YJ! It is an 89 with three tops (hard with full doors, soft with half doors, and bikini). 2.5L with 93000 on the odometer. Sahara brown. Anyway, I cant decide between getting a new RE 4" spring kit, RE spring-over, or the Rocky-Road-Outfitters spring over kit.

I have a 93 TJ 4.0L, 2.5" body lift, 1" shackle lift, and ax15 trans. Original rims were banged up and looked like crap, got a very good deal on used 15x8 rims. ---Q1 size: For stock gears (I'm assuming 3.11?)should I go for 31 x

I am in the process of gathering info and parts for a SOA on my 95 yj 6-cyl (I have put it off to long). I am planning on a danna 44 front axle from a 76-77 bronco and a ford 8.8 from a newer (90's)ford explorer with a limited slip diff.

I've got the FSM for the truck, which gives the spec's on how much to torque it, but can someone point out where it is I'm supposed to tighten it, and can I use something besides the "Adjustment Gauge (J-34651)" to adjust it? Right now, the brake alone isn't enough to keep my ...

Subject says it all.... the wifeys XJ is making the familiar ujoint noise, either of you guys have a recommended place? I'm pricing it out now and hoping to get the work done by late this week early next week. Why does my XJ always breakdown when I go looking at a 2nd one???

Ok the short of it... how does one go about removing the front hubs? I have a noisy bearing on the drivers side (eliminated the ujoint), I was interested to know of any tricks, do's and don;ts . Thanks

1986 CJ7 4 cylinder (150K miles but engine was rebuilt at 90K) I was hoping it might be the fan......took it off. Still clattering . Maybe the alternator or power steering pump.......took them off. Still clattering OK it must be the timing chain. Opened it up and the chain ...

When I do the 3 time key turn thing.. I get these 2 codes. One is power loss (I'm paraphrasing) like when you disconnect the battery. But My clock, etc have no memory loss. The second code, 21 is for a bad O2 sensor which I change about 6 months ago.
