clip for headlights 97 zj29 May 2005 21:25 GMT2
does anybody have any idea as to how I can get just the headlight clips for
a jeep grand Cherokee 1997.  I broke a couple of them and it seems all I can
find is the complete headlight assembly.  Don't need the entire headlight
just the plastic clips.  any idea??
I'm gonna go Postal....!29 May 2005 19:51 GMT6
Hey group,
I recently acquired a 1981 DJ5L Postal Jeep (stop laughing!!) and the
wiring under the dash looks like hell. The number of splices and wire taps
under the dash is scary! Not surprisingly, I have electrical issues. Try

Buying a new Jeep...29 May 2005 15:18 GMT7
Is it at all possible to buy a new Jeep Rubicon without all the B.S. for the
front desk clerk, salesman, manager, appraiser, finance manager?
I have spent three weeks trying to buy a new car and all I have run across
is liars, cheaters, thief's, crooks and more liars.
FINALLY getting my lift, now what lift to get is the question.29 May 2005 14:50 GMT5
Well its graduation time and i have been saving money since February.  I
have around $800 now and expect to have around $1000 in a week.  (oh and my
dad is going to buy the tires, 33" BFG MTR)
My goal is a 4" short arm kit.  I have been told the kits from Full
What now??  (Clutch slave again)29 May 2005 06:38 GMT11
Ok, got the clutch slave in and installed it.  Something just wasn't
right -- I couldn't get the fluid to flow from the master cyl through the
line and come out of the bleeder on the slave.  Kept pushing the clutch in
and out until I had worked my way through 1.5 master cyl's ...

Blower Motor29 May 2005 02:43 GMT6
I have a 96 jeep Grand Cherokee with Automatic Heating and Air.  The Heater
/ Air Conditioner Blower continues to run after all switches are off and
ignition off.  The only way I can turn it off is by removing a forty amp
fuse.  Any suggestions on what might be at fault?
BFG AT's on a heavy vehicle and around rocks?28 May 2005 16:05 GMT10
You guys are a great tire resource.  I need tires for my '95 Land Cruiser.
It came with Michelin AT's on it, but I broke one on a rock while doing some
moderate wheeling on a camping trip last week.  I like the snow performance
of the BFG AT (this vehicle will be taking us skiing ...
Pwr Steering Fluid Leak28 May 2005 15:55 GMT5
In my '93 Grand Cherokee, I'm losing a pint of power steering fluid every
other day. It appears that it is  coming from the bottom of  the rack.
Is there a seal there that I can get and replace? Any other things to check?
Thanks all for your help.

check engine codes are
p0203,p0202, p0204, p0206, p0207, p0208, and p0121

The rpms will change suddenly when at and idle or just sort of coasting
Good Shocks for 2000  JGC   ?????28 May 2005 10:58 GMT5
I am trying to find a good set of shocks for the above Jeep.   I tried
Dousetech  (spelling), but they sent me the wrong set for my Jeep, and will
not respond to my dealer's efforts to replace them.
I have heard of Gabriel Ultra shocks.   Has anyone used these on a Grand
Drop Pitman arm or Tie-rod flip kit?28 May 2005 04:22 GMT1
I'll be going SOA on my 89 YJ next weekend. I've heard it both ways for
either getting a 4" drop pitman arm or doing a tie rod flip kit. I'm partial
to the tie rod flip kit as it helps to protect the tie rods. What's the
verdict on both?
"Lights on" chime not working (97 TJ - doors ON)27 May 2005 18:23 GMT32
I see there are quite a few posts on this topic but I'm not able to
find the answer to the problem.  The "lights on" chime when the engine
is turned off is not working on my 97 TJ.  I searched older posts and
realize that the #4 fuse behind the glove box needs to be in for this
Just to let everyone know27 May 2005 14:09 GMT27
Went to the Stealership today to see what they had, they had already sold
the red unlimited rubi a few weeks earlier, and they had a kaki one on the
lot.  It had all the options I wanted, but hadn't thought about the kaki,
but my wife said she liked it, so I looked at it a little ...
