have a edelbrock 1400 series on a 350 on my cj that needs rebuilding. got the kit and wondered if there was anything i should know before diving in this weekend. looks pretty straight forward from the pieces i'm seeing. also are there any good links on how to tune the thing

Hey all, I have a '98 TJ. The summer I bought it I also bought a Kayline Softtop. So, last fall some jackass cut a 10" long slit in one of my rear windows. I'm wondering how insurance coverage works with aftermarket tops like this.

If I'm driving my 99TJ ,(straight 6 cyl), on level interstate and my 4th gear RPM's are exactly 2000 rpms at 69-70mph and my 5th gear RPM's are exactly 2500 rpm's at 69-70 mph, which gives me better gas mileage?

ok here goes some friends of mine have a 75 cj5frame with a 46 cj2a body on it. 36 inch tires. 4 inch lift procomp springs. how long should shackles be bolt to bolt before it is unsafe? right now i believe theyre somewhere in the 9 to 9 1/2 inch range to alot for body and tire
