What happened to Jeepforum.com?20 Jun 2005 17:13 GMT1
Anyone know what is going on with Jeepforum.com? I tried to go there
this morning and the URL is acting as if it is unregistered from the
server.  It doesn't even answer a ping. Did someone goof and delete
the database, or are they just upgrading it?
Does Anybody Here Have Any Experience, Good or Bad With JeepWarehouse20 Jun 2005 15:16 GMT6
Does anybody here have any experience with JeepWarehouse
(www.jeepwarehouse.com)? This is a Muncie, IN Jeep dealer
that offers prices almost 25% below MSRP. As the old saying
goes, "if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is" so
Spare Tire Stuck on 97 TJ20 Jun 2005 14:55 GMT1
Bought a 97' Jeep TJ and put 31" Trxus rubber on it. When I went to
remove the spare to get a 31" spare mounted - The lugs were seized on
the studs pretty well. I ended of turning the studs inside the spare
tire mount. Any suggestions as to how to get the spare off??
Airbox has to go?20 Jun 2005 14:14 GMT19
I got a great deal on a Quick Air 3 and attempted to install it and gave up.
I have an 01 TJ six cyl. and the air box has to go if I want to put this in
the engine compartment, and I do..  I'm really not interested in K&N or
other devices.  I have seen nice setups with a chrome ...
Snorkel or K&N ?20 Jun 2005 14:09 GMT3
I'm curious what you guys think is the better way to go, an ARB snorkel or a
hi air flow kit like the K&N, Rusty's air tube or the air raid?
I don't really see myself getting into water that will threaten the intake
where it is, but it might be nice to get it up higher just in ...

03 windows on a 98 TJ OEM Soft-top?20 Jun 2005 13:28 GMT3
I looked around for about 20 minutes on google-groups, and have no real
clear-cut answer. I'm looking to bid on an auction, and need to know...
Will '03 windows work on my '98 factory soft-top?
An aside on tire rotation20 Jun 2005 12:05 GMT1
I am told by junkyard workers they are amazed how many vehicles now go
to the crusher with "virgin" factory full size spares in the trunk!
Also, since so many new car buyers summarily install aftermarket wheels
taking substantially different tires (and in sizes the factory doesn't
CB Antenna???20 Jun 2005 06:36 GMT14
Hello Group
I'm looking for some opinions on
CB antennas.
Which are the best (your opinion :-) ) for a jeep?
Monroe Shocks for 2000 JGC / Sensatrac or Reflex ??20 Jun 2005 03:13 GMT1
I have a  2000  JGC, and I need to replace the shocks. I have decided on
Monroe shocks, for a mid-priced quality shock.
I want a fairly "smooth" ride, with decent control. While I occasionally go
off-road, my use is public roads 98% of the time.
90 XJ Backup light switch - Adjust or replace?20 Jun 2005 03:11 GMT26
My 90 XJ backup lights only work if I push the shift lever (automatic)
slightly toward "Park". I suggested to the dealer that it may need an
adjustment - they countered with nearly $500 P/L  to replace it. Sounds like
a scam to me. Does anyone have any experience with this ...
1982 CJ-719 Jun 2005 18:17 GMT35
Until 8 months ago, I faithfully locked in my hubs and drove 5 miles to
lubricate the axle while driving off road.  Last September I moved from the
AZ desert to Washington State.  My Jeep has been parked for 7 months after
driving it 1500 miles to get it here.
Inoperable winch19 Jun 2005 11:44 GMT3
I have a 2001 Yamaha Kodiak 4x4 atv and it has a Warn winch on it. My
particular setup utilizes a solenoid and has a rocker type switch to
control in and out as opposed to the usual disc type (roto)switch. The
winch does not work. I changed the solenoid, and it still won't work. I
Dead AC/heater blower, 2000 Cherokee19 Jun 2005 04:16 GMT18
Hello all, I have a 2000 Cherokee. My heater/AC blower won't turn on. I
had a dead battery and a blown fused wire (idiot with a jump pack). A
battery shop replaced the battery and wire but I picked it up after
hours and when I tried to turn on the heat - no fan. The radio was dead
transmission leak 93 YJ19 Jun 2005 02:53 GMT2
93 YJ automatic
Driving on freeway 75 mph for about 30 minutes, pull off freeway and smoke
is puffing from underneath.
Appears to be transmission fluid dripping on muffler and smoking.
