Willys JEEP Starburst horn31 Jul 2005 20:48 GMT2
I've heard that an early Willys/JEEP horn closely resembles a late
40's Indian motorcycle horn. I've Ebayed and Googled but I haven't
found a source for this horn. I've got a generic horn on my '46 Indian
and frankly, it looks like crap. The original horn for my '46 is very
Oil Pan Woes31 Jul 2005 13:20 GMT5
My kid damaged the engine oil pan on his 2000 TJ Sport.  The dealer wants
$119 for it.  Anyone know of a better (cheaper) way to get a hold of one?
Since it's off-road damage, he's paying and funds are limited.
Thanks!
O2 Sensor31 Jul 2005 13:18 GMT10
I have a '96 GC Laredo with 158k, 4.0L. The check engine light came on a
couple of months ago and I did the 3 turns of the ignition switch and the
codes came up as 12,21,55. So, I figure it's time to replace the O2 sensor,
which I did. Now the check engine light comes on and then ...

Wife's blower stopped "all of a sudden" in her Cherokee, AC, heater, vent -
no blow - checked #5 (30 amp) fuse - it is visually good.
I have a meter,,, but electricity is like magic to me,,,, how do I test the
blower circuit to check if the blower motor is indeed bad? Replacement
code 65. Power Steering Presure Switch31 Jul 2005 13:02 GMT16
Engine Light came on a few weeks ago. Reports code 65. "High Pressure
Seen At High Speed"
After some research, seems that this could be because of the pressure
switch malfunctioning. If so, are replacements found at auto parts

Early CJ frame boxed?30 Jul 2005 21:03 GMT4
I stopped to look at the remains of what the owner thought to be a CJ2A
with a flat-head four in place.  I noticed that the frame sections
visable through where the rear floor used to be were factory boxed with
3" or so round cutouts along the inner box side, and these looked

I have a  1980 Jeep CJ-5,   V-8 engine.  I just use it at my vacation cabin.
I have terrible ignition noise on the am radio. I have replaced the plugs,
rotor, and distributor cap.  I have not replaced the plug wires.
There is a NAPA dealer in the nearby town. Does NAPA  sell a basic ...

the replacement seats?
Please advise.  Thanks.
AC on MAX does not blow well29 Jul 2005 09:08 GMT2
2000 Grand Cherokee V-8.  When I have temp set at Lo, fan high, A/C
and Recirculate on, set for dash vents, in this 90+ weather, it just
doesn't feel like it is blowing much.  When I turn recirculate off,
you can feel the cold air blast through the vents.  Two dealers have
