| Idle Speed When Stopped | 09 Aug 2005 03:24 GMT | 5 |
The idle speed on my 2000 TJ 4L has suddenly gone screwy. When I come to a complete stop the speed drops and the engine will eventually die. This only happens when it's a complete stop, if I'm moving even the least bit i'ts fine. It's also normal when cold, if you let it warm up

| Just bought my 2nd YJ | 09 Aug 2005 01:30 GMT | 1 |
It's been almost 3 years since I sold my beloved 95 YJ. I hated to sell it, especially since I had invested a lot in it (lifted, larger tires, winch). Well, I couldn't stand it any longer, so when a colleague told me he wanted to sell his 95 YJ, I jumped at the

I've just washed my Black 94 Cherokee (UK), I initially used Mr Sheen furniture polish inside, then (just like you do with rust) started doing some plastic bits exterior, ended up doing the whole jeep exterior paintwork and windows with it.

Put the clutch in my YJ on Saturday, along with the rest of the parts I had to take out to get to it. Everything is good working order, I am pretty pleased. I orderd the kit from Valeo, on eBay. So far it seems good, except the throwout bearing they sent me didn't fit. According to ...

| Jeep Starter Problem - 93 YJ | 08 Aug 2005 13:53 GMT | 9 |
I don't know if anyone has had this problem but, here is the situation. My wife's 93 YJ would not start one morning. No extreme weather, no symptoms of slow start or anything. The Jeep would make a click noise at the starter. The starter was trying to engage, but would never spin. ...

| Cherokee power window failures...has yours failed yet? | 07 Aug 2005 13:35 GMT | 20 |
Just bought my third power window assembly (3 failures in 2 Cherokees). All because an engineer tried to save a nickel and used plastic where metal was required. All 3 failed exactly the same. Chrysler denies that this is a design problem, even though replacement assemblies ($105 ...
