im swapping discs from a (i think) 80's cj onto a 73 cj. the bolts pressed
into the knuckles are slightly longer from the disc setup (caliper bracket
vs. backing plate). my question is, are the knuckles compatible or should i
just swap the bolts? any info would be greatly ...

My wife's stock 2004 Grand Cherokee came with P235/65R17 Michelin LTX
A/S tires on 17 X 7.5 rims.  The stock tires have had a good run with
56,000 miles but it's time to purchase a new set with winter coming

I decided to take the Jeep out for a spin yesterday and found the return
line gas line rubber hose that comes from the fuel pump and clamps on
the hardline by the left rear tire. Is there anyone with experience on
replacing this without having to drop the fuel tank? How about just

This is my daily driver.. I run 22.5" wheels and I get a whopping 6-7mpg. I
typically drive about 150 miles a day. Sometimes up to 750.

       I got in my jeep tonite to pull it into the driveway and there was my rear view lying on the
dash. That's a new one on me <grin>. What is the best glue to use ? I would strongly prefer
something I could pick up locally (Home Depot, Target, Walmart,etc.) and ...

Bought a re-man steering gear box, and had it installed by the $tealer,
$81.00, could not pass up that deal!
But the steering wheel is ~5 deg. off or so... is that just a drag link
adjust, or should the steering shaft be turned on the box a bit?

OK, let's get this out of the way right up front <g> I like my comfort. So, with
that said I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to build a Grand Cherokee
to do a good job around town, on the freeway and off road on Moab style rock
crawling, say 3+ to 4 rated trails.  But wait ...
