I am looking for steering column parts, I have a 79 CJ-7 that the upper
plastic joint in the tilt needs to be replaced. Or a rebuilt column
would be nice, but I am not having much fun trying to find either.

The  year 2000 Jeep service manual I have says to use "flushing" oil to
clean out the case.
What's flushing oil?

developed a weird problem with the tail lights and I was wondering if
anyone could help me pinpoint the problem..

93 ZJ start problem29 Oct 2005 22:16 GMT1
it was the fuelpump.  replcing it was a pain though.
The hitch and skidplate bolts were soo frozen up that I had to bring it
to the shop to have them cut/torch them out. (I rather have someone with
insurance have a torch near my gas tank an set it on fire)
MTBE vs. Ethanol29 Oct 2005 21:39 GMT13
I just heard an interesting thing on Goss' Garage Radio Show this past

but it is a pollutant and as such has been banned in twenty-two states.  In
those states (he didn't name them) the alternative to MTBE ...

Replacement fuel injectors29 Oct 2005 06:33 GMT11
I am looking at replacing all 6 of the fuel injectors on my 93 Grand

Hello, I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Inline 6, 4.0L, and it is
having some starting issues. It will take it forever to start, it will
crank over about 10-15 times and then finally start, Do you have any
sugestions? I have replaced: Spark Plugs, had all liquids changed, ...
Though Jeep, Libty is 100% girl car28 Oct 2005 22:38 GMT230
That says it all. Ladies, those who wish they were, and misguided
commuters buy Libty. Even availability of a real off road vehicle
engine (except, being electronic, it isn't) isn't enough to get any
self respecting male past the appearance.
