I have an 87 YJ with an 258 six in it and today I was backing out of the
driveway and it stalled...tried to restart..fired for a couple of seconds
then quit again...now it wont start at all....rolls over very well
....getting fuel...seems to be no fire...any ideas what to check

sorry for the late response. I broke my arm and busy at work.
I still have a problem starting my ZJ.  When it is cold it just starts
fine. When it is at "operating temp" it will not start. When it is kinda
warm it will start, but very rough, like it is out of fuel and then it

I had my  '94 XJ up on a hoist the other day checking something out and I
happened to also check the rear hubs . There seems to be an awful lot of
"float" in and out on the axle approximately 2 -3 mm.whats the problem , can

Ok, here's the problem  on these nice rainy days when the windshield fogs up
the defroster has a hell of a time trying to clear it, the wifey is getting

I have 1993 Wranger 2.5 liter manual trans.
Tried to start good crank , switched relays around there good. Someone told
me the computer no good. Is there anyway to verify this?

back_yard mechanic's possibility ?? ARe there any special tools required ??

Got a new selonoid pack on my warn MX8085 and had the MRV-B-7 rebuilt at a
local shop. New armature, brushes, ect.
Re-installed everything today and was in the process of spooling in my
cable. About 1/4 of the way through, the winch slowed down a lot, but kept
