I have a 99 TJ and can get my hands on a complete soft top for an '03 for dirt cheap. Some sites say the tops changed in 03. Anyone verify that? I don't need the hardware -- so can I attach the '03 cloth to my '99's hardware?

does there exist a ball hitch receiver with a very long shank, like 14" or more? i'm not referring to the overall length, but just the length of the shank tube that has the receiver pin holes. thanks

I have removed all the bolts and lock balls from the transmission. I got the shift lever out. the shifter side cover came right off, but the other side will not come off. The case cover moves, but will not come off! BTW I did remove the snap rings on both sides.

What are the curves bent into the underside of the hood on my CJ5 for? I noticed the rail that runs just inside the hood, on the fenders, also has radiuses bent intothem also.. Are these left overs from some military use? Just kind of made me wonder
