YJ suspension mod question22 Oct 2005 13:16 GMT6
I've had a ProComp 4" lift on my 88YJ for about 6 years.  I'd really like to
find a way to soften the ride a bit.  I'm thinking about removing a leaf
from the spring pack.  Anyone out there ever done this?  If so, what were
the results?

Pinging Jeep22 Oct 2005 05:24 GMT11
looking for ideas on why our 98 Jeep Grand with a 4 liter pings with regular
gas when pulling our 19 foot camper. When I put premium in  it does ok , but
I thought the Knock sensor would adjust timing to run on any fuel. Is my
Knock sensor bad ? I've got no check engine lights . ...

I have a new 2005 TJ Sport with a 4.0 / 6 speed manual. Driving around town
on drive roads the engine has a slight lag in response, most noticable going
into second and third. The lag / hesitation is less than a half second, is
not accompanied by any miss fire and no error codes are ...

As I work though my electrical issues I found a big void in the fuse
panel.
On the top of the panel above the fuses are 2 large grey plug-ins

HardTop, Soft Doors?20 Oct 2005 19:17 GMT2
I need some help answering this question once & for all please.
I'm looking to bid on a hardtop for my 03 TJ on ebay from someone

Actually he's calling them "soft doors"  I have been under the impression
anyone Turbo'd a 258 or know about someone who has?20 Oct 2005 05:24 GMT13
Just curious to see if anyone's ever addressed the higher RPM
shortcomings of the old 4.2 with some creative salvage yard turbo
action; or kit. Driving my F550 TD at work got me thinking about what a
jeep might sound like crawling along with that waste gate sound.
CPS on Grand Cherokee?19 Oct 2005 23:23 GMT8
The old '93 Grand Cherokee started missing badly a few weeks ago. I
remembered reading here about the Crankshaft Position Sensor causing some
similar problems and that you might unplug it and get the car home. Well,
I've unplugged it a few times since then and the car runs okay for ...
