| Looking for advice on new Liberty tires. | 24 Nov 2005 03:17 GMT | 18 |
Hi. I'm currently posted overseas with Uncle Sam, and I'm sick of the stock Goodyear Wrangler ST 215 75R16's. For the next few years the jeep will be spending 99% of it's time on city streets and highways, and I need something good in wet and rainy conditions. The stock tires

| used winch help | 24 Nov 2005 01:40 GMT | 2 |
I'm buying a used warn winch, is there a fuse or anything that goes between winch and battery or is it just direct hookup. Want to test winch but don't want to fry it if there is supposed to be something between. 8274 model if that matters.

| 1993 JGC Speedometer dead but fuel economy compuation still works | 23 Nov 2005 22:55 GMT | 2 |
The speedometer on my '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee started getting jittery and now is permanently at zero. However, the trip comuter is still computing fuel economy correctly so vehicle speed is presumably still making it to the trip computer.

| LED brake lights with reflective bases | 23 Nov 2005 12:14 GMT | 3 |
LED's have been discussed before, but I can't find any one that makes a LED 4" tail light / brake light that uses a reflective base. What happens when you forget to turn on your head lights and no one can see the back of your jeep because there is nothing reflective? Someone ...

| 1984 CJ-7 | 23 Nov 2005 00:35 GMT | 1 |
I've had one week to survey my wife's CJ-7. Other than being a rolling rust bucket, with nothing that works right, it ain't got no problems at all. The first challenge is to find out why the cloth doors don't fit, or latch, onto the jagged piece of metal acting as a door latch ...
