My son brought his 91 XJ (4.0 l) over this afternoon for "a little help" installing an after market cruise control. I showed him the gargage and went back to my coffee. By supper time, he was to the point of needing to hook up 2 wires: the tach and/or the tach/VSS.

Would there be any negative implications to 'capping' the passenger side heat duct? 90% of the time I drive alone and it has gotten to that time of year when getting a little extra heat helps.

I have managed to do some semi-serious damage to one of the U-joints in my double cardan. I don't know the name of the littel center-section part, but it pretty much fell apart, and the result is that the body of the double cardan has struck the yoke on the drive shaft and has ...

| Old Jeep - blow by | 17 Nov 2005 23:29 GMT | 6 |
Have a 91 4 cy wrangler with 218,000 miles. The blow by through the vent on top of the valve cover is so forceful that it's soaking the air filter with oil so quickly that I need to replace it after just 500 miles.
