| CJ5 Heaters | 12 Nov 2005 03:30 GMT | 20 |
I have a 1980 CJ5. The heater works good but the blower leaves something to ones imagination. I read once where an older stlye blower motor out of a GMC/Chev truck would work by opening the housing hole just a little but would bolt right up. Is this true and if so what

| Question about front axle on Cherokee Sport | 12 Nov 2005 02:05 GMT | 11 |
Are the front axles and drive shaft "engaged" (ie: being turned by the front wheels) while in 2WD? If so, is it a worthwhile investment, *gas milage wise*, to get a setup that includes manual locking hubs?

| from TJ to ZJ? | 11 Nov 2005 21:02 GMT | 8 |
My daily driver is a TJ which I ocasionally use for off road adventures - nothing really extreme, I carry a Black Rat recovery winch but I've never had to use it (and hope that I never have to use it). I have been thinking about trading for a ZJ in order to have a

| 1992 8.25? | 11 Nov 2005 11:23 GMT | 1 |
May have the opportunity to get an 8.25 out of a '92 Cherokee. It's got a welded carrier. I only plan to run 31's, with my 4.0. I've heard that the pre-'97 8.25's are not much stronger than the D35. Is this true? Am I just as likely to break this 8.25 as I am my D35?

I have some rust sprouting from my hood and door hinges. How do I remove the pins that hold the hinges on? Do these need to be pried off? Pry up the top pin on the doors and which side on the hood? Or am I way off base here? Steve
